After their college was off Khushi take Payal with her to AR Designs. According to her Aakash and NK come to see office after their college and she can surely ask them to help Payal

"Khushi I do not like it, abhi bhi time hai, main khud daikh ..." But she was too late because Khushi has opened the door of Aakash's cabin

"Aakash Bhai" She shouted entering the room and Aakash who was busy in narrating something to a subordinate looked up at her, It was surprising to see Khushi at office because she never came here before. He gestured the other person to leave

"Khushi what a pleasant surprise, tum aaj office kaise aa gayee?" He asked and she pouted

"Aakash Bhai please, humain aap ki help chahiye" She asked sweetly

"Hmm toh kahan shopping ka plan ban raha hai" He know she was crazy for shopping and only came to him whenever she was in need of money for shopping

"Not shopping, Hamari dost ko aap ki help chahiye" She pointed towards Payal and Aakash only then noticed a second figure with her who was nodding her head to No

"Ohh Hi I'm sorry I didn't notice you're with Khushi"

"No It's ok, Khushi chalain" Saying first three words to him she whispered to Khushi

"So how can I help you?" He asked

"Bhai Payal ko usski final report ke liye B&S Groups ka financial analysis kerna hai but she don't know anything about it, toh bhai aap help ker dain ge?" Khushi explained to him and Aakash smiled how in whole narrating Payal kept nodding to No

"I don't mind but you should ask your friend if she wants me to do it?" He can't help but to tease her only to increase her nervousness

"Payal kyun mind karain gi, Hai Na Payal" To this Payal just smiled

"Ok then Payal aap kal iss time hi office aa jaaien, phir discuss ker lain ge" Aakash said

"Ji theek hai" In their whole conversation she have only once or twice looked at him. He knew about Khushi's friend before but never met her face to face, she was like any other girl to him but after meeting her he was feeling something different which he was unable to name.

Arnav was going downstairs checking on his files when colliding with someone papers fell from his hands, He without bothering to look who was the person bent down to gather the papers, when his hand stilled listening the voice of the person whom he hate from the bottom of his heart in fact more than he think he hate Khushi, someone whom he cannot even bear to be around him.

"Daikh ke chaliye saale Sahab" He fisted as he heard his voice

Kaha tha main ne tum se mere raaste mein mat aana" He said getting up and glaring him coldly, Shyam smirked seeing him pissed, it always satisfied him to see Arnav helpless

"Arre main kahan tumhaare raaste mein aaya, tumhain daikh ke chalna chahiye"

"Forget it" If he would not getting late for his conference he would surely teach him a lesson but he did not want himself to engage in any argument right now so he stepped forward and Shyam smiled widely

"Aaj tak tum har kaam mein mujh se aage rahe ho Arnav, laikin tumhari Pyari Di se shaadi kerne ke baad tumhari position kuch down ho gayee hai aur tumhain iss haal mein daikhne ka maza hi aur hai"

It was Arnav's 14^th birthday also he had passed her 9^th grade exams, it call for a double treat. Kinshuk arranged a grand party for this celebration. Khushi had bought a beautiful pen and a diary for him but she was frightened of giving this present to him. He thought of placing it on the gifts table without any name tag and she did it.

She went to Arnav who was busy in talking with some of his friends,

"Happy Birthday and Congratulations Arnav Bhiya" Arnav smile turned to a firm grin listening her voice but he did not want to create any scene in front of his friends

"Thank you Khushi now you should enjoy with Aakash and NK" He patted her cheeks and she felt as if someone gave her just what she really wanted, She smilingly turned to go when her smile faded away hearing Arnav and his friend's conversation

"Who is she?" A friend of him asked

"No one she is just a neighbor" She did not understand why he do not admit her to be his sister. At that time she silently came from there

10 years have been passed but the memory was still fresh in her head. Today was again his birthday and like always she has bought a gift for him and like always she after wrapping it placed in one of her drawer in cupboard with rest of the gifts. She could not ever dare to give them to him. She opened the other drawer where 13 Rakhis had been placed each made in different manners. She never tied Rakhi on his hand after one small incident. On both days she used to go out with Payal and she is going to do the same today.

As he opened the entrance door and stepped in he found the whole hall dipped in dark. He stepped towards his room when suddenly stopped by a sudden shouting, "Happy Birthday" and with that all lights were turned on. He looked around the hall and for a moment he quite admired the decorations but next moment shaking his head he moved forward

"Happy Birthday Chotte" Anjali wished hugging him and he smiled

"Thanks Di but iss sub ki koi zaroorat nahi thi" He always felt odd in celebrating his birthday

"Zaroorat this Chotte, mera chotte aaj 24 ka ho gaya hai"

"Happy Birthday Bhai" Aakash and NK said together

"Thank you" He scanned around the room as if to find Khushi but next moment shrugging away his thought he turned to Anjali

"Di main apne room mein ja raha hoon, thanks for all this"

"Rukiye na Saale Sahab, arre kam se kam cake toh kaat lain" As he heard his teasing tone he fisted his hands

"Yeh sub mujhe pasand nahi hai, so please I'm really grateful ke aap sub ne mere liye yeh sub kiya" Saying this without waiting for an answer he left from there

Arnav was sitting in the living room with his family photo album in his hand. For the other people he may grown himself as a strong man but there was a sensitive person inside him whom he just care to show only when he was alone and today he may grown up 24 but there is still a small child inside him who wants to have his parents with him. He run his fingers on his and Kinshuk's picture. He had smiled for the last time with his heart in this picture, he thought. Suddenly he hear unlocking of the door, he looked up to see who could be at door as this is 2:00 am now. The person was indeed Khushi but whom she is talking to, She waived her hand to some person smilingly and entered in. Seeing him sitting here she stopped for a while but next moment she was moving to her room when his voice stopped her in her course

"Kahan se aa rahi ho tum?" He surprised her by asking such a question, he never cared before from where and when she was coming then what so special today

"Khushi I asked something, Where were you?" He repeated clenching his teeth

This time she turned and for the first time she replied him back with directly looking in to his eyes, "Hum kahan the yeh aap ko batana hum zaroori nahi samajhte" This only cause him to lose his temper

"What do you mean, tum zaroori nahi samajhti, you have to tell me"

"Aap ko koi haq nahi ke aap hum se sawal karein, humain aap ko koi jawab nahi daina" She was about to turn when holding her arm he pulled her towards him

"Tumhain mujhe jawab daina hoga kyun ke main tumhara ... CHOTTE" He was about to say something when quickly stopped by Anjali and he realized what he was going to say. He left her arm and made his way to his room leaving a confused Khushi behind

"Hum jaante hain ke aap hamare bhai hain per yeh kaisa rishta hai joh jab aap ki merzi ho toh theek werna aap iss rishte ko nahi maante, aisa kyun hai?" There were lot more questions in her head but she do not have answer to a single one
