On Saturday, Ram Kapoor's (Jai Walia of Kasamh Se) tiny tot Sia turns two months old. The actor, who is extremely fond of kids, plans to spend the day with children suffering from cancer. "I had been thinking of doing something for a long time. Either donate some money or do some charity for a needy organisation," says Ram.
Wish comes true
Kapoor thought of spending the day with the kids at the cancer ward of the Tata Memorial Centre, when some of them expressed a desire to meet him. "The children had a wish card party where some of them expressed their desire to meet me. That's when I spoke to my wife and mother-in-law and gave them the idea of making a donation in Sia's name," says Kapoor.
Ram, along with his wife Gautami, plans to visit the kids on Saturday with gifts.
Cloned!
Since he's working long hours, he admits that he does miss out on the simple pleasures of watching his daughter grow. "I see myself as the provider for my family. My wife is doing a great job of being a loving mother. Even as a child, I remember my father not being able to spend lot of time with me. But today we both share a great relationship," he says.
Ram adds that his favourite Sia moment has been photographing her when she is sleeping. "She was in deep sleep and I was in the mood to take a picture. When I saw her all cuddled up, it felt like she was angelic and so beautiful. Just as I was about to take a picture she gave the most gorgeous smile ever. That not only made my picture but my day as well! You know, she's starting to look like a clone of me everyday!"
