May be she is a cross dresser. 😆 . But jokes aside I too think making her dress like boys just too emphasize on her tomboyishness is not cool and Cv's should not to do this. Its cool if she wears trousers while playing football but seriously make her wear the proper uniform for the rest of time.
^ I don't agree. I have seen in another show (dun remember the name OR the origin, maybe it was Asian) where the tomboy girl was shown wearing the male uniform and no one cared because it was a uniform. Bobby is uncomfortable with her skirt and scarf hence she opted for the pants and tie. I still stand firm that she requested the school authorities for this. Not all girls are comfortable showing their legs in school and maybe long skirts are not allowed in school that's why she is shown wearing the boy's uniform.
Another note, Chaestha is really pretty and if she is shown in girl's uniform, maybe no one would buy that she is in fact a tomboy. Tomboys hate girly stuff and are uncomfortable with all this. The makers have done the right thing showing her in boy's uniform.
@-Mais- : OK I understand your view point. But question is it really necessary? You said about a show. I too used to follow REMIX amother teen show on Star One. In it Ashi and Maria wer shown as tom boy but they never were shown to wear boys clothes. So her tom boyish image could be shown while making her wear girls clothes too.
Chaestha is pretty I agree but still there are various ways of makeover. Personally I think the Cv's have given us the image of Bobby just so that her transformation could be shown in later part of the show.
I have seen remix. Ashi was sooo not a tomboy, neither was MP. Both were very comfortable in their female costumes. I so remember Ashi's totally backless dress in a party. Here the whole characterization is different. Bobby is something who wants to be at par with boys, the stronger of sexes. Plus, i dont think she has any female influence in her family (elder brothers, strict father). Situations like these, girls tend to act like boys. Some grow out of it, some like Bobby dont. Its just her character.
Umm It's not mandatory to wear a skirt as a school uniform for Girls, I remember when i was in school, We had an option to either go for Trousers or Skirts, I know some parents don't allow skirts!
