| To starters, the show has all the ingredients to make you laugh, cry, jump and swear all at once. According to it producer JD Majethia, "we have tried to inculcate all the nine rasas recognised as the Indian navras. In Resham Dankh, one will find reflections of all nine moods." | ||
| After having dealt with sitcoms and light drama of the kind of Ba Bahu Aur Baby, Khichdi, Office Office and Instant Khichdi, Majethia is back with a sting in this one. Like always there is a stipulated time period for his serial (not more than 14 months) and the story is worked out to the last detail. "The serial is a prime time soap that will last not more than 14 months. Every episode is with me," says Majethia without divulging more. | ||
| The idea came from a story by Aatish Kapadia and Mahesh Yagnik which appeared in a regional publication some years ago. However, Majithia insists nothing but the concept is similar. A host of new characters have been introduced in the show and some scenes have been set in for the special JD effect. As for the signature style of Hat's Off Productions, Resham Dankh will have its own comical moments. | ||

| "I relate to Mrs Balraaj's character in the first half of the serial. But what the character moulds into at the end of it is just not me. It is totally different and that is the twist in the tale," says Moulli Ganguly who plays the upbeat bahu of the house. | ||
