I have a feeling that she will be a negative role. When Nani referenced to Arnav being exactly like his father, cold and hard, he didn't like it (after the elopement). Also Arnav's and Anjali's uncle kicked them out of their house in Lucknow which was when Nani took them under her wings.

So I have a feeling that Anjali has been secretly meeting with Dadi, however, Shyam has a part to play behind this. Having been Anjali's husband for 3+ years, I'm sure that Anjlai indulged her husband with her past, her broken marriage and her parent's deaths. Now, he's using his knowledge of the rift between the families to break Arnav.

We have been told as well, that Arnav and Khushi's pasts are linked, whether Shyam knows of this or not, I'm not sure. But it's going to be a really interesting track I think.

I would love to see Arnav forbidding Khushi to get involved with his Dadi because she's bad news and him being protective of her 😊
