"Anav Bhiya" Aakash, NK, Anjali and Arnav were playing Luddo when three years old Khushi trying to take dice from Arnav's hand called his name. He felt like throwing her away and Anjali jumped up down in happiness

Anjali: "Chotte Khushi ne tumhara naam liya"

NK: "Anav so cute"

Aakash: "Its Bhayyiya not Bhiya"

"JUST STOP IT" He yelled and throwing Luddo walked away the hall

Today was her 14^th birthday. It was her first birthday after her father's death though she was not willing to celebrate it but Aakash, Anjali and NK forced her. They take her to her favorite restaurant. They were enjoying their dinner when suddenly Khushi forgot to take the spoon to her mouth at the sight in front of her. It was surely Arnav. He made an excuse to do his project and did not come with them but here he was sitting with this girl laughing at something. Her eyes filled with tears.

"Khushi what happened?" Aakash was the first to notice, she pushed back tears in her eyes and faade a smile

"Aakash Bhai Can we go to sea side?" She said so that nobody could see Arnav with the girl

"Ok but dinner …."

"No please, now" She pressed and after Aakash paid the bill and they came out of the restaurant

She came in the kitchen to take water when she heard unlocking of the door of living room. Scarily she went in living room but released a sigh of relief seeing the person there, it was Arnav

He was going to his room when he stopped in his steps hearing the voice of last person he wanted to see

"Arnav Bhiya, aap aa gaye" She came in front of him and he glared him as if ate up her with eyes

"Khushi I'm in no mood talking to you, just leave me alone" Saying this he was about to leave when she held his hand

"Hum aap ke liye cake le ker aaien" She asked and he pulled his hand from her grip, turned to her

"Can't you hear what I said, Just Leave Me Alone" He said harshly and left leaving her shocked behind him

She again came back to her room just to cry more now not understanding the strange behavior of her elder brother.

On the breakfast table everyone notice Khushi being unusually quiet, even Arnav had a notice of it but he related it to her birthday, he heard from Di that her best friend was out of town so she could not come to her birthday.

"Khushi kya hua hai?" Anjali asked handing her the slice of bread, She silently glared at Arnav again the same questioning gaze, he irritated

"Di I am leaving" He got up from his seat and before anyone could say anything he left from there

"Khushi kahin tum Payal ki wajah se toh upset nahi?" Aakash asked and she don't want to deny him It was Payal also but the thing which was pinching her was Arnav's behavior

"Haan Payal nahi hai toh hamara bhi college jaane ka mann nahi hai"

"Don't worry Khushi mera bhi mann nahi hai so let's party" NK said joyfully but soon to be smacked by Anjali

"No Party NK you have a presentation to attend with your Jeeja Ji, but Khushi off le sakti hai"

"Kyun? Khushi kyun aur main kyun nahi? That's so unfair" He made faces and Khushi laughed at it

"NK Bhai main aap ki tarha kaam chor nahi hoon" She stick her tongue to him

"Khushi I'm your brother"

"But work comes first" She shrugged her shoulders and everyone laughed as to enjoy their bickering

Neha was breathing her last. Arnav was sitting outside the room in hospital corridor. He was just 12 years old but it seemed that in three days he had grown to 22. The child inside him died completely and after what his mother told him and Anjali, it made him to hate Khushi even more. He recollected his mother's words in his head

"Tum sahi the Arnav; Khushi tumhari behan nahi hai, woh meri dost Saniya ki beti hai per uss ke marne ke baad uss ke in laws ne Khushi ko own karne se inkaar ker diya kyun ke Saniya aur uss ke husband ne love marriage ki thi, Main tumhain sub such bata ke ja rahi hoon, sirf iss liye ke tum uss se nafrat na kero, usse apni family ka hissa samjho, meri baat mano gen a Arnav"

"Mom aap usse sub such bata dein please per aap joh keh rahi hain ….. main nahi ker sakta Mom"

"Arnav …. Anjali mujh se promise kero ke Khushi jab tak 17 saal ki nahi ho jaati iss baat ka zikr uss se koi nahi kare ga, na yeh ke woh hamari sagi beti nahi aur na hi ……"

Why did he say yes to his Mom for doing such a thing, but he can't let her hopes to die.

"I swear Khushi, I'll never forgive you"

One promise his mother had taken from him and one he made to himself. He kept both promises and now when the time is over he had to tell truth to her. The Truth of her life!

Now he was in the house arguing with Anjali

"Di she has to face truth someday then why not now" He was not getting it why Anjali did not want to disclose the truth as she knew what damage it might cause to their lives

"Chotte main such batane se nahi rok rahi abhi batane se rok rahi hoon, abhi uss ke exams ho jaane do phir tum usse sub such bata daina" She tried to convince him, he agreed to her giving up

"Ok Di per sirf uss ke exams hone tak"

Anjali sighed in relief as for now releasing the biggest burden

"Konsa Such Di" Arnav and Anjali jumped from their seats listening Khushi's voice there
