How sick is this and to think people's careers hang in the balance and these ratings are being manipulated.😡

Ufff the reason for the share price dip is right here...

ahhh so... this misappropriation of data for TV ratings there by leading to loss of revenues and share prices ( I was wondering why the the share price is almost rock bottom and what went wrong -- I remember seeing it around 500 bucks..but the truth is it's not about their performance or their programming, the reality is with the adjustment of numbers.. which i think is more severe than misappropriation of funds in a financial firm ..

for me NDTV is like an icon - News in India to me is NDTV - ever since 1988 when Pranoy Roy started "The World This Week" program - I was following only NDTV (loyal viewer).. so in the recent past i was wondering .. what are the other news channels showing which NDTV is not able to succeed .. more than the TRPs of NDTV .. i was wondering about the share price

so yeah your right christine - this is sick and pathetic .but this is the harsh reality -- did you read the proxy's installed at politicians houses for manipulating the ratings 🤢

well i wish they win this law suit worth 1.4 billion dollars .. they need to win it... so it is filed in NY - great ...lets await the outcome - the law suits here are much faster than the ones in India ...

No surprise here. Of course ratings are manipulated. It's a daily occurrence all over the world.

In SA we just had a scandal with the rating system for online radio stations. Two radio stations were said to have between 30 000 and 50 000 subscribers. Turned out they had a few hundred each 🤣

But the big figures fooled their advertisers 😆

And some of the DJ's who actually believed huge numbers were tuning in to their rubbish 🤣

Gosh so we cannot give anything on the trps charts now as well. I mean this is just stupid!! I agree with shaun this surely happens all over the world but that makes it not any less disgusting!! 😡 This really pisses me off!!

Aw Kristin don't get mad. It is always like this when money is involved. And at the end of the day it's all about advertising.

Advertisers pay more for popular shows. So if you rig the ratings you get them to pay more for ordinary shows.

Life's like that 😆

I know but it also means that some good shows properly ended early because their trps were messed with while other bad shows went on to annoy the viewership for much to long!!

Believe me this news won't cost me any sleep but it does annoy me. Just because the world is run like that I don't have to like it or ignore it unangered 😉
