Saurabh Tiwari repents initiating maha episodes on small screen!

Everyone knows that the small screen is no smaller; its reach has become much wider. Even some people say that it is giving an open and tough competition to the big screen these days. Like producers of Bollywood movies, the makers of tele serials on the small screen opt for various marketing strategies in order to woo the audience.

Now days, making maha episodes of the serials has become a common trend. It is notable that producer Saurabh Tiwari is the person who initiated the trend of maha episodes in 2009 when he was associated with Colors channel. Since then the trend caught up like fire.

Presently, he is producing Madhubala -Ek Ishq Ek Junoon for Colors under his company Nautanki Telefilms. He was asked to produce a maha episode that went on air on July 21st then he learnt that making maha episode is not an easy task as the channel demands for it every now and then.

Moreover, the producer regrets his decision of initiating maha episodes on the small screen. Saurabh repented his decision and added, "Today as a producer, I understand that coming up with a maha episode is not an easy task. I started a wrong trend. I am sure all the producers must have hated me then (laughs)."

Saurabh you need not repent as every coin has two sides!
