Chapter 28

LEAP...!!!

After 11 months

Khushi was holding the7 month old Ansh in her hand while Arnav had the 1 month old Adhya in his.

"Arnav, see he is just like his dad, doesn't even cry. I haven't seen such a quiet kid in my life"

Aakash just smiled.

"And this one doesn't even stop crying...just like his dad"

Arjun glared at Arnav. But Khushi and Arnav were too busy to notice these reactions

"Arnav, when we have our child I really don't want him/her to be like you. Going around bossing everyone...!!!"

"Khushi how dare you say that? You don't want our child to be like me? I don't want my child to go around making jalebis and blabbering all the time"

"N I don't want my child to be screaming and yelling all time" Khushi was getting angry now

"See Adhya what you Maami is saying. She doesn't want your brother or sister like your Mama"

"Don't try to talk to her. If she was old enough to respond then surely she would have supported me"

"Oh really? You think so Khushi?"

"I don't think so, I believe so"

"Khushi, Arnav? Have you both stopped arguing? Else give the two of them back to us and go and argue in your room. We need some silence here" Arjun said.

Anjali and Payal took over the kids from Arnav and Khushi respectively.

"Oh so you need silence Mr. Arjun Malhotra?"

"We all need silence Chotte" Anjali and Naani said.

"I don't want my child to say WHAT THE all time. Better he/she be like me"

"And roam around munching jalebis?"

Arjun went out and made a phone call leaving behind the family members to watch the two of then arguing.

"OK ok listenall we are going somewhere , leaving these two behind." Arjun said while coming in.

"Really? Kahan?" NK asked while helping his 2 month pregnant wife.

"To Khushal's house"

"What you are going to bhai's house and that too without me? See Arnav how can your brother in law behave like this?"

"Arjun what did you just say? You all are going to Khushi's brother's house and that too without us?"

"For your kind information Mr.Raizada, I and Khushal are friends, I don't need Khushi's reference to go there. And BTW I think ASR is in a mood to argue with anyone he comes across."

Arnav and Khushi just then realised what they were doing.

"Khushi and to you I'm informing you that Khushal and Riana has asked you both not to come because they haven't invited those who have not wished them on their wedding anniversary to the party"

"Hey Devi mayya, how did I forget that? Arnav this is all because of you" Saying this she went to her room without even waiting for any response.

"Khushi I'm not responsible for anything. Ok now leave that and get ready to go"

"Since I'm late I'm leaving that topic for now. I've had got the git also ready even"

She got dressed in a purple saree and Arnav in his black Armani suit. They left for the other family members.

"Khushi why are you here?"

"and you Arnav? Why have you both come here? As far as we remember we haven't invited you two here?"

Khushal and Riana were cross examining them after the others had entered. It was just a small function in which only the family members were present.

"Khushal and Riana, we are the only guests who got invitation from your son. The three year old Rishi has invited his bua and phupha to the party. Call him and ask whether he had invited us or not" Arnav said smirking.

He and Khushi had expected this and hence called up Rishi and bribed him to make him in their side.

They forced themselves inside . they went to Rishi who was playing with the younger ones.

"Ok Khushal bitwa and Riana bitiya, pooja shuru kare?"

Naani said. Anjali arranged the thaal and handed it over to Riana. The aarti and all were done and Khushal and Riana took blessings from the elder ones.

"ok now time or our gifts" Riana announced.

Everyone came up with their gifts. Finally only Arnav and Khushi were left.

"Ok since we did not wish you in the morning, we are giving you 2 gifts from our side"

"Really? OK Arnav you first"

"Here are two tickets to Switzerland. You both may leave tomorrow for your second honeymoon , I and Khushi will take care of our Rishi"

"Ok 1 gift accepted. Arnav we forgive you" Riana said

"Now you behna"

"Bhai, I'm sorry since I haven't attended your marriage I did not have much photos, I just did my bit, with whatever I could find"

Khushi handed him a handmade photo collection in which she had a single pic of their marriage and then the other photos of the days she had spent with them"

Khushal was overwhelmed with the gift he got from his little sister.

"Sorry Khushi, I was rude to you or not wishing us"

"Its ok bhai, even I would have behaved like that"

"You just forgot to wish us today. The gift proves that you were ready to wish us"

"Ok now the brother and sister please stop your emotional drama, we are all hungy isn't it Lav?" NK said

"Ok we are just coming." Khushal said and hugged Khushi. Arnav and Riana joined them.

"Oh hello, we came here just because we were tired of this husband and wife and now we need to watch all this?" Arjun said.

"Arjun, stop it" Anjali said

"Ok now lets cut the cake" Arnav said breaking the group hug.

After dinner Khushi, Arnav, Khushal, Riana, Anjali, Arjun, Aakash, Payal and NK danced on many songs while the others looked on.

After a while they all retired for the night and went back to RM.

1 month later

"Khushi wake up jaan, its our wedding anniversary today"

"Arnav I'm feeling really weak I want to sleep more"

"Khushi, what are you saying? Don't you want your gift?"

"No Arnav, let me sleep. I don't want anything else"

"Dont you want to meet Salman Khan? If you don't want then I'll ask him to go back"

Khushi opened her eyes to see Arnav leaving the room. What if Salman Khan was there down? Did Arnav really mean what he said?"

She got out of the bed and was about to run down when she realised that she was half naked. She ran to the washroom and got ready wearing the best saree which she could find, she ran to the main hall just to find her family there.

"Happy wedding Anniversary Khushi. You are the last one to wake up today. Usually you wake up early"

Khushi was still searching for Salman Khan. Had Arnav Singh Raizada fooled her?

"Di where is he?"

"Who??"

"Di she is asking for me her husband...!!!"

Arnav said emerging from the main entrance.

"You said you did not want to meet Salman so I sent him back"

" WHAT???"

"How could you do that to me Arnav???"

"Khushi don't cry, Chotte is just pulling your legs"

"That means Salman ji did not come?"

"NOOO" the whole family shouted

On hearing this she fainted. She was about to fall, but Arnav was too quick, he held her and prevented the fall. He took her up to their room

"I'll call the doctor." Khushal said

The doctor came after half an hour.

After the check up the doctor came out"Congratulations Mr. Raizada, you will be a father soon"

"Are you serious doctor?" Arnav asked

"do you feel I'm joking. That too to you? Your wife is 1 month pregnant"

"wow, Khushal I will be a dad soon, you will be a mama. Di you will be a bua soon"

Khushi was awake by now.

"Khushi, I'm so damn happy. This was the best anniversary gift I could have got. Thank you sooo much"

Arnav hugged Khushi

"Thank you too Arnav. Same here for me. I love you"

"I love you too"

The family left the two love birds to enjoy the happy news for themselves...!!!
