It is very difficult to compete with her in western style of singing. She amazed the audience with her singing in the old melodies and which got her the award for 'the best performer of the week'. We are talking about the talented singer Poorvi Koutish.

Vocal trainer, Raju Singh, shared with us his experience training Poorvi.

"Poorvi has a strong modern style of singing. She also has a strong hold on Punjabi songs also which she sings without any accent. But, the moment she sings a Hindi song, she sounds like a girl who has come from abroad. Hence, we are trying to pull her out of the hold she has on western song and she is tryig her best. In the future she has to show her other styles of singing as well. I know that she is a little weak in Indian, but not so weak that she cannot catch up with it. May be it is because we have not really heard her Indian side of singing", shared Raju Singh.
