Chapter 35: "Shall We?" (Last Part)
Khushi was totally hurt broken. She sat on the bed holding her head when anjali stormed into her room panting.
Khushi tooked at her terrible. she got alarmed.
Khushi: Di! what happened?
Anjali just couldnot say anything, she chocked.
Khushi jerking anjali's shoulder: Di, huya kya hai? Why are you behaving like this?
She gradually saw anjali fainted in her arms.
She panicked...Di! Di!...JIJAJI (she shouted)
In the meantime Khushi's phone rang..."jijaji calling"
Khushi: Hello! jijaji, aap kahan ho? woh di...
Abhaye: Khushi (he said in a low voice) where are you?
Khushi: Jijaji, wow di, she...she fainted...where are you?
Abhaye: Khushi, i am in city hospital.
Khushi's heart skipped, she remembered Angad's incident and she froze.
Abhaye: Khushi! are you there?
Khushi: haan..haan jijaji.
Abhaye: Sprinkle some water on her face and come to city hospital asap.
Khushi: Jijaji, sab thik hai na?
Abhaye: Ya khushi, just come.
Khushi took some water and spirnkled on anjali's face.
Anjali saw khushi and panicked...khushi!! khushi!! chottey?
Khushi: Kya huya Di? what about Arnav?
Anjali: Khushi, chotey met with an accident.
Khushi was shocked, numb, angad's flashback started playing on her head continuously...
Anjali: Khushi! she jerked her.
Khushi didnot response...
Anjali: Khushi! she jerked her again.
She was still silent.
Anjali slapped her hard to make her react...khushi! i am calling you.
Anjali saw khushi's eyes welled up still shocked, lifeless.
Anjali left khushi and about to leave the room when she heard...
Khushi: DI!!!
Anjali turned...
Khushi: Can you please take me to him? Tears dropping down tracing her cheeks. Her whole form shivering for an unknown fear. Her throat dry, her words chocked, her hand cold her heart beating loud, her mind blank, her eyes desperate to see him. See him alive, safe and sound.
I felt like the longest journey of her life which was actually 10 mins away from RM.
Anjali got out of the car and ran inside the hospital.
But for khushi, it was like her feet has left her, she stood infront of the car leaning on the door closing her eyes, didnot have guts to enter.
She relloceted all the moments how arnav took her out of the shock when angad left her, but this time who...NO NO her mind screamed, her eyes flunged open she looked at the hospital main entrance, she gathered all courage she had and stormed inside. wiping her tears aways she finally saw anjali and abhaye.
Abhaye was holding anjali and anjali was crying madly.
Khushi took slow steps towards them, her ears regecting to hear anything bad, her eyes rejecting to see him dead, her heart telling her that he is still breadthing, her mind still confused after seeing anjali like that.
Abhaye glanced at khushi and gave her a he-is-fine look.
Khushi grabbed the bench and dropped herself on it. closing her her, holding her dupatta, looking up an the air thanking god.
Doctor: Mr. Raizada, your brother is fine, he is having some fractures which is going to take time to heal, but dont worry, nothing serious.
Anjali (in a chocked voice, trying to gulp down her fear): Can we speak to him? Is he in a condition to talk?
Doctor: Yes but only one can go, he has just gained her conscious, and after all he had gone through this accident, his brain must be trumatised.
Anjali: Thanks doc, but i think his wife has the right to see him.
Khushi looked at anjali in surprise.
Anjali looked at khushi lovingly and stretched her arms to hug her.
Khushi came running in her ebress and hugged her tightly while anjali brushed her hand on khushi's head.
Khushi girpped her tightly: Di! Di! (she tried to speak but she chocked)
Anjali: Now dont waste time explaining everything to me, just go and get your husband khushi. He loves you a lot.
Khushi looked at anjali,anjali cupped her face.
Anjali: GO NOW!
Khushi: Thanks Di.
Khushi ran towards his room and burged inside.
Arnav saw her, she saw him. she ran towards him and crushed herself on him in the bed.
Arnav remained quiet.
Khushi gripped him more and more and more.
Khushi: I am sorry arnav! I am so sorry (she said inbetween her sobs)
Arnav still remained quiet and cold.
Khushi started kissing him on his shoulder: I am so sorry. I know it is all because of me Arnav. Its all because of me.
Arnav: you are right khushi!
Khushi was shocked to hear him.
Khushi broke thier embrace and saw him.
Khushi: Arnav!
Arnav: ENOUGH!! kyun ai ho yahan? Why did you come here?
Khushi couldnot find words to answer him.
Arnav: KYUN KHUSHI? Just because i am in the hospital? Or maybe you thought i will die? thats why you are here and apologizing? I dont want your apology khushi? Actually i never wnated your apology. I just wanted to crash your big fat ego that you have. but surely not intended to do it like this.
Khushi: Arnav!
Arnav: Kyun khushi! aaj kyun? Where was your concern for last 3 years? Ek khabar tak nahi liya. Pucha tak nahi how i am, whether i am still alive or dead? Then why today?
Khushi looked down: Arnav!
Arnav: Kya farak padta hai? Who am i to you? your forced husband?
Khushi looked at him.
Arnav: Yes, forced husband right? who pulled you and forcefully applied his blood on you...right? a husband who doesnot have a right on his wife, and damn thing related to her, he cannot even see her, he cannot even ask her how she is, he cannot be concenred about her, he cannot...he cannot meet her, he cannot talk to her...that is what i am right?
The great man (he mocked) who cannot claim his wife as his wife in front of the society. For what? just because she cannot hurt her sister-in-law. Did she ever try to talk to her regarding that? Wait a minute does she ever felt the need to talk to her on this matter? No. and why would she when she doesnot consider this marriage as a marriage. Forget about marriage, khushi! tumne ek baar bhi humlog ka friendship ke baaren mein naho socha? What about that? this relationship had become so imp for you, in a negetive manner mind you. that you forgot our friendship?
Was it you who had kiss me on the road without caring any damn thing, without caring what future holds for us? without caring what everyone will think, where is that khushi? lost in her ego? Ek baar bhi mere barein mein nahi socha?
To aaj kyun ho yahan, chod deti, nahi ati...
I wanted you back in my life and i was all prepared for that. i wanted to give it a try by bringing lovelin and making you jealous and confess. but i realised it is of no use. You dont have the balls to accept me and give me that respect.
Nurse: Mr. Raizada, please dont get so excited. Madam you are making him hyper, this is not good for his condition.
Khushi shot an angry glare at the nurse and spoke.
Khushi: He is my husband, and i will be souly responsible if anything happens to him, please leave right now before i end up insult you for interfaring in husband wife matter.
Nurse: But madam
Arnav: its ok, i am fine.
Nurse: Ok sir, but please.
Khushi: LEAVE. NOW.
Arnav: There is nothing to create a scene now khushi. Why are you doind this when it is all false.
Khushi: BECAUSE I LOVE YOU DAMN IT. I love you a lot from the bottom of my heart. I love you since i fell on your arms in the cafeteria, sleeping in your arms in the bus, falling on you in busket ball court, fightling for the bottle, when you kissed me on the stage infront of the audience, when you saved me from rishi, when you teased me, the why you brought life in me. I always loved you arnav and i will always love you. If this marriage meant nothing to me then...then i wouldnot have obeyed this by putting the sindoor everyday and praying for your long life Arnav! if you werent my husband, i wouldnot have come back to RM, if i didnot consider you as my hudband then i wouldnot have kept fast for you ever. but i did that, i did it for us.
Khushi: Just take me in your arms and make me yourz forever. I need you Arnav, i need you in my life.
Khushi once again crashed herself on him and this time he held her in tight embrace and whispered "Shall We" start a new life as husband and wife?
Khushi looked at him and smiled and finally joined her lips with him, pouring her love.
P.S thats it guys...phew!!! finally i have completed this. and guess what my fisrt FF which doesnot have a single matured content chapter (pat on my back 😆) I cannot believe it. Well thanks to all of you who liked, loved, enjoyed this FF. This was my longest FF and i am glad that i have completed it.
