Even we cant seem to look beyond A&K either. WHY?
Because its about spontaneous combustion, about mind boggling chemistry, about tequila scenes (to borrow ur words) and fight clubs!

I think at a base level, ALL of us crave the kind of luv that is portrayed in the serials…. A la sujal-kashish, Anurag-Praerna and Angad-Kripa…. The kind that involves soul searing passion & a lifelong "luv-u- or-hate u , but can't live without u type of committment" …. The kind that overpowers all thought and reason and all earthly bonds …. Of friends & family, of society, and of kith & kin ….

Otherwise why would we be tickled pink by romantic beach scenes?? feel tingly from intensity of lipstick/sindoor scenes, go mushy over mango & bike scenes, or feel despair at the couple's breakup and sad n depressed by miscarriages (albeit poorly shot/executed) or keep questioning wat if she/he marries sumone else , wat if she doesn't forgive, wat if she loses her faith in luv …. It's the HOPELESS ROMANTIC in each and every one of us that keeps us bringing back for seconds… and thirds and fourths …..

I think that despite being (repeatedly) told that in a clinical, technology driven & fast paced world like ours, "tru luv doesn't exist anymore" & that "they don't make marriages like they used to"…. we remain HOPELESS ROMANTICS at heart.…..we mite have turned into world weary cynics frm the outside, but when alone, we still crave the company of that certain someone who can be the epicenter of our world, have the power to cause meteoric showers /soul shaking seismic activity in the blink of an eye and yet calm our existence like the first shower falling on a barren thirsty desert…

Offcourse, it helps to have eye candy too!!!!!
If Angad wasn't so hot & sexy and kripa wasn't a perfect picture of a pretty child-woman, passionate and committed ---all in one, there wud'nt be as much fun in watching the serial….we like seeing the reaction of chalk n cheese on a phyical, psychological and metaphysical level…. Because deep down, we all pray that Tru Luv doesn't merely exist on an esoteric level….

The peripheral characters (Aaliyah et al) interest us only on a subliminal level …. We 'tolerate' them (no pun intended against Dadi, Aaliyah and Prthvi – they are all gud actors) but only insofar as they intertwine with the lives of our main leads…. Nothing more …. If they were to disappear, we wudnt even bat a eyelid …. But if (God forbid !) Angad was to miss appearing in an episode …. wat a major fit most of us wud have & wudnt our hearts just fall to the ground with a thud??? …….Kudos to the acting talents of the two main leads …. We are smitten… Hook, Line & Sinker !!!!! 😆

You have put it so aptly, darling. It is perhaps our faith in "True Love" that keeps us hooked to such gorgeous couples........I have no doubts about it's existence because I have seen it happen for real.

By the way, the word for people like us is "hopeful Loveatics"😆😆😆.....we just don't give up on the concept of love...irrespective of the fact whether we get it or not.

i am sorry but i dont think its just angad and kripa that keep us hooked on to kyph ...i think its the complete package ...

but yet ...the fire that kyph created ...its getting melowed over the weeks...atleast the reason could be that most of the times we know whats going to happen ....episode wise and then there is no surprise and hence no fun...

You should take a break from KYPH for sometime. It happens to regular viewers of soaps...mundane saturation wave. Start seeing it after a few weeks and your interest will be back.😃

ya i know what u are saying .....but...

i tried ....not to watch the soap ...but then ...its like when its 8 in the evening i automatically switch the tv on and tune in to sony and the rest just hapens ...

what can i do ...

also when i put the internet on ...the first thing i do is log on to if-kyph...
