Chapter 3

"Ermm'.alright then.", he added, "Aaliyah how was the wedding? I didn't want to miss it, but I was on the tour with the boys."

I was still mumbling to myself, trying my level best to keep my calm demeanor.

"Aamna, don't wanna say anything?", he casually asked.

"No, nothing like that.", I replied with a slight smile.

"So you two like our music?", he asked, curiosity flashing through his smile.

"Ofcourse we do.", Al replied calmly.

"I FREAKIN' LOVE YOU GUYS!", I screamed out.

Aaliyah immediately grabbed my hand as an indication to keep my calm.

Oh god. What if he knew that I entered EVERY possible 1D contest on the official website? How'd he react if he saw one of the 'goodnight' tweets I tweeted him EACH AND EVERY night before going to bed? He'd probably think I was a creep.

The thoughts were making me shudder.

"Uh..I mean you guys are immensely talented. I never thought I'd actually get to meet you like this, you know, up-close-and-personal", I added with a grin.

"Oh! I'm glad.", he chuckled.

Before I could say another word, I was interrupted by a call from my mum. I received the call, answered my ever-so-worried mum's questions, and kept the phone on the table.

I tried my best not to show my fangirl side to Zayn, and even he didn't sound like a celebrity while talking to us. In the meantime, Farah called us for dinner, and there I even had a chance to talk to Zayn's parents. They were as down-to-earth as him, and were as amiable as ever.

Zayn shared the inside jokes of the band, his childhood memories and how his little sister got scared of his new microphone tattoo and a number of things with me and Aaliyah.

After a certain point, I didn't even feel like I was talking to Zayn Malik, and now that I think about the way I reacted when I first saw him, it just seems ridiculous!

Soon it was time for me to go home, and I hugged everyone a goodbye.

I had an amazing time at Farah's place, and I spent the entire night thinking how fate had actually planned my encounter with the person I admired the most. But I could not let him know that. He could NEVER know how I felt for him.

I decided to text Al and grabbed my phone to type out a message. And there and then, I had what I could call the second shock of my life.

It was NOT MY PHONE!

Basically, I make the chappies short for the cliffhanger thingy 🤣
I almost wrote down the phone bit in this chappy...but then socha let's keep you and Ammie thinking🤣
And yeah, Ammie bitiya nearly lost it there...but phir se her VERY SENSIBLE friend calmed her down -_-
