Chapter 4

Trapped Together

Khushi woke up drenched in sweat , after a week she had slept and all she could dream of was arnav. She hurried down to the kitchen to find pari and nk missing. All she wanted to do was go to the office and see arnav but then she remembered it was Sunday. The office was closed.

Nk: hey khushi. nk gave her a sweet smile and pari appeared from behind

Khushi started shouting; where were u ?? What is wrong with you ??

Pari: chillax khushi we were just planning to go on a duo date as you don't seem interested

Khushi was very angry: Pari ?? on Sunday night you guys are going to go for a duo date ?? and what about me ?? isn't Sunday the night when we all go for dinner together ??

Pari: yes khushi but you see I really like this guy I met yesterday while shopping at wall mart. He is tall and dark …

Khushi: shut up pari and stop describing him. And anyways how did nk get involved

Pari: we were talking and talking and then he said lets go for dinner tomorrow and I couldn't refuse but he has his sister in town and I matched nk and sushma..

Khushi: nk ?? how could you and sushma what kind of name is that !!

Nk: sushma but pari you said her name was sushmita..

Pari: sushma for short and raj can come over n give you company. He is such a sweetheart he couldn't refuse

Khushi: let it be I will manage a lone night.

Khushi wore a comfortable dress and lip gloss. All she had done since morning was curse pari n nk for leaving her at home. She had placed an order for a large pizza but it hadn't arrived. She was finding her purse when the bell rang. She rushed to get the pizza. But it wasn't the pizza man but arnav holding the pizza. Khushi thought stop dreaming , arnav can't be the pizza guy.

Arnav thought khushi your dress. I want to rip it off rite now.

Arnav: khushi I took the pizza for you.

Khushi: si…iir ??

Arnav: I was going home when I thought I will discuss the show's theme with you and I thought you would be at nk's place

Khushi: I am house sitting, nk is away on a date

Arnav face lit to hear on a date.

Khushi: why don't you come in ???

Khushi was listening to all that arnav said nicely while eating her pizza. He told her about the theme and the designs.

Khushi: sir can we..

Arnav: outside the office its just arnav

Khushi nodded and shot a smile at arnav.

Arnav: shit its 10 already

Khushi looked at the clock in the living room and made a perfect O to show how surprised she was

Arnav; I should go probably. I will see you tomorrow

Khushi: yess arnav I mean sir or arnav.

Arnav smirked at her confusion and started to grab his coat.

Khushi held arnav's hand: sir you can't go , there is a major storm and I say you can stay the night. It is very dangerous to go out side please sir understand.

Arnav: but khushi ??!??!?

Khushi: sir its on every channel on tv , even on radio and the internet. Nk warmed me to even go outside to the garden. Arnav you should not not ..

Arnav gave her a questioning look and all khushi could manage was : pleassseee

Arnav: fine until the storm is in town I wont go, happy ???

Khushi smiled: very .
