Geet was worried her father and so was maan, both tried to reach mr handa but his phn was unavailable, he should be back till now, but his absence is worrying everyone now. Well not everyone. Brij and his mother who is geet aunt and her grandmother also was fuming in anger, they need a chance to blast now. Geet was going in her room when brij stopped her. maan saw his hold on geet's hand and the tighten was hurting geet. She cried in pain but brij was showing his anger on the hold. Maan came in front of took her out from brij's grip making brij fume more.

Brij: oya tu hota kaun hain hamare bich me aane wala?

Maan: uncle had given me the responsibility of geet, u can't do anything like that.

Maasi: ha ha hum jante hain kaise responsibility de rakkhi hain.

Geet was little baffled with the tone her aunty using. She didn't liked it and specially for maan she can never tolerate someone saying things badly.

Geet: we will talk later when papa will be here. No need to talk like that.

Maasi: why geet, can't u hear a word against this low class cheap guy who is behind u and ur money from so long?

Geet shouted: maassiii ek aur shabd nahi maan ke khilaf. The thing u don't know please don't bring that here now. I don't want to hear a word against maan and that I mean it.

Sensing the problem her nani started faking concern: we thought at least u will listen to ur father's plea, at least in family he will live in peace, after the loss he was broken but he is living because of u but u will be so selfish we can never imagined that. this boy is manipulating ur mind for money and u r going against ur family.

Geet was dumb shock with her words, she couldn't comprehend with the words about her father and sensing the hole brij also started nagging.

Brij: choro nainma, ye kaha sunne wali. She has become so selfish in love that she forgot about her father who had brought her up amidst every hurdle and every sorrow. Though uncle was breaking bit by bit never told her anything.

Now maan is confuse, what they are talking about. What happen.

Maan: what r u talking about.

Brij: don't pretend now maan, u know what uncle is going through. He need some solace with geet's wedding but because of u his dream is broken. After the heavy loss in Mumbai also he stood strongly but now when we will give this news he will break any moment.

Geet: saaf saaf bataiye huya kya hain, what happened to papa?

Maasi: geet ur father's company in Mumbai is in a moment of clashing.

Geet and maan was shock with the truth. Maan was so shocked; he couldn't even move a muscle. He knew something is going wrong in the company but never knew things are so difficult there.

Geet: its not possible, she sounds so low yet firm.

Brij: oh yeah, do u know last night our stock of raw material met with an explosion, and now the Mumbai branch is on stake. The union had made a fuss over some worker's death and uncle is stuck in his mansion only because if he if goes out they might kill him.

Geet: Veerjiii,, geet shouted couldn't hear the words.

Massi: and now when he will hear juneja's had broken eth alliance think what will go through on him, he will be broken.

Geet; lekin ye sab huya to papa ne kisi ko kuch bataya kyun nahi, at least maan would have known.

Brij: he would be knowing if he take his eyes and mind out from u, geet looked at him feeling shock, what did u thought geet, we are blind that can't understand what is going between u 2. We know everything and wait till I told it to uncle, he can never forgive u for this, for ruining his name and reputation.

Geet looked at maan with tears. She can't handle the words. She want to run to her father's embrace. Maan saw the pain in her eyes. He assured her he will take care about it.

Just then they heard the cell rang, and it was Mr handa's PA.

Maan lost his all color, his face was pale and weak. Geet shook him but he was looking at her only with blank eyes.

Geet: what happen maan? but maan didn't said anything. bolo na kya huya maan, her voice was showing the pain and helplessness. An unknown fear was covering her heart. She took the phn but it was disconnected. She looked at maan expectantly. kuch bolo maan, huya kya hain?

Maan: uncle went through heart attack few hours back, he is in ICU.

Geet whole world just stopped there. She was going to fall on the ground if maan had not supported her. he was horrified looking at the pale face of geet, she was staring at him with expecting eyes but he couldn't do anything, she saw sid and pari beside her taking her name in aloud but she felt numb, and soon darkness engulfed her.

Geet opens her eyes and saw maan beside her kissing her knuckles, his face showed how worry he is. She panicked.

Geet: maan papa.

Maan: geet relax, how r u feeling.

Geet: maan papa kaise hain, I need to see him, I want to go to him, please maan take me to papa.

Maan: relax 1st, he is fine now, we will go in few hours geet, just relax now, pari had packed ur stuff and jet is arriving, so we will be leaving for Mumbai in 2 hour. geet suddenly hugged him ignoring the presence of brij , her aunt and nanima.

Maan consoled her by patting her hair As she sobbed in his embrace.

Geet: nothing will happen to papa na?

Maan: we will never let anything happen to him, u trust me na?

Geet; hmm.. maan ye sab kaise huya I mean the explosion and the loss veerji was saying.

Maan: geet I knew some problem is going but uncle never told me about any loss I have checked everything and nothing is there, as far as Mumbai branch concern, there are some problem but I never thought problem will be so big…

Brij: how can u know the problem when u were so lost in urself that u forgot to see the company behind. Or should I say u r behind all this.

Geet; Veerji bas, not a word.

Brij was taken aback with geet's audacity.

He didn't said anything and went out from there and with that the 2 ladies followed him.

We need to do something brij, this maan is getting on nerves, geet is becoming love sick puppy.

Brij: don't worry maa, I will take that maan out from her life, she will do whatever we say to her.

Geet's maasi; if I hadn't seen him coming from her room and giving her flying kiss and then the state of geet I would never know what was playing between them.

Nani: laaj sharam sab kha baithi hain, abb kya karenge, uss prem ne to shaadi karne se mana kar diya. And if this maan married her tehn all property will go under his name.

Brij smirk: whatever u say, its good that prem had rejected this marriage because now we can marry her to our pawn.

Geet rushed in the ICU where mr handa was captive, her eyes beamed with tears. She had lost her mother at the very tender age and now losing her father also, she couldn't take her weak self now. Maan supported her walking by holding her shoulder.

She sat beside mr handa and took his hand in her. she stays like that for hour. maan couldn't see her state, he came out feeling miserable. 1st her state and 2nd mr handa who was lying lifeless, he had respected mr handa more than his father, he had taken him as god father. As he knew only because of mr handa he is a strong man now.

Maan was doing some phn calls regarding the matter of company when mr handa's PA had informed him to they need him for the sight. Only maan can handle the heated situation now, some day before a worker died in the construction field.

Maan didn't wanted to go but he had no option other than going and settling the matter. Maan had the last look on geet and informed her that he is going on the sight, she was petrified. She didn't wanted him to go there but he had to. He consoled her that he will be alright.

Half heartedly she let him go, after an hour doctor came to see mr handa, and then geet got to know he had a severe attack, though he is fine but can't say anything for next 24 hour, it will be critical for him. geet was waiting for her father to open his eyes and talk to her but as time passed her strength was loosing, sid was talking on his report with the doctors and pari was beside geet with her every need.

Its more than 5 hours still maan is no where to come, hours passed and it took a day but still maan was busy in the chaos only.

Its next morning when geet come to see her father and got to know he got his conscious, she immediately tried to call maan but he was not reachable, she feared something may happened to him but maan msged her he is coming in an hour, he knew mr handa is in conscious.

Geet ran to see him but brij, her maasi and nani was already there. She peeked in and saw her father searching for her. she went towards him and held his hand.

Geet: papa.

Mr handa didn't said anything he looked at her feeling helpless. She sensed that. she looked at doctors.

Doc: sorry his body is paralyzed. There is thin chances of getting him back like before.

Geet was numb with that, she sat there with tears and doc made his way out.

Maasi: dekha geet, this is all because of u, what he wanted, only to see u married.

Geet only stares at her father.

Nani: if prem hadn't rejected the marriage maybe ur father would never went through this.

Geet's mind stopped working, geet saw her father was restless, he was trying to say something, he is talking with eyes which shows pain n restlessness. Did she really made a mistake?

Geet: nani aap ye

Brij: when uncle ji got to know ur marriage had been broken he got the severe attack, its only because of u. he was worried with his business and then ur marriage gave him more pain. U r the cause geet.

Geet couldn't think much her mind was completely blocked with those words and guilt, pari entered the room and saw the scene. Geet was numb and that feared her. she immediately touched her shoulder to brought her back. geet shudder and then looked at pari with tears, pari instantly hugged her.

Geet; meri wajah se papa ko ye sab. I told u I m not a good girl

Pari: shhh geet, kya huya? Aisa kyun soch rahi hain?

Nani; only because of her mohinder is going through all this. na ye shaadi se mana karti na ye sab hota,, our head are bowed in shame in front of eth society only because of her. abb to mohinder thik hone se raha, this pain of seeing his daughter without marriage sign on the marriage date only eat him in guilt and shame.

Nani started crying in loud. Massi stopped her in few mins showing how much melo drama she can do.

Geet; but prem himself broke the alliance, gete sat on her knees and held mr handa's hands, trust me papa, its not my fault. I had never loved him and beside it prem loved someone else.

Mr handa tried to say something but he couldn't move his tongue, taking the opportunity brij started his game.

Brij: if u had agreed to marry the person uncle ji wanted then maybe he won't feel so this hurt. And on top of that , maan who is just a mere employee how can u think uncle would be ready for him, he has no good background, not a status and on that no father name, do u think any father would like to see her daughter with a person like maan, no never. Uncle ji had always told me he want to see u married to a prince, but maan was never in his list, he pitied him but not loved and I m sure after u left uncle for that maan he wll hate that maan and u.

Geet: no he can't hate us.

Brij: he hates u geet.

Pari was in panic to see geet so heartbroken, she knew geet can't handle this, she immediately tried to call maan and went out for signal.

Geet: nahi veerji aisa nahi hosakta.

Brij: when u can't do anything for the happiness of the man then don't expect anything from him as well, he will never accept u geet. Geet tried to talk to her father who silently shed tears for his daughter's helplessness but she took it wrong. She thought her father is in pain because of her.

Geet: I m sorry papa, I m really sorry.

Brij: abhi bhi kuch nahi bigda hain geet, say yes to ur father's choice and he will be happy.

Brij smirks seeing the pain in geet eyes with which she was seeing her father.

Geet: I can do anything for him.

Brij; then say yes to rounak, uncle ji's business partner's son. His business will set up again, u know how much lose he went through.

Geet was shocked, she can't comprehend what he is talking or what he want to tell her. she just looked ta him blankly. She saw her father's pleading eyes.

Geet: I will marry him.

She just walked out with that one line, feeling numb and scared. she doesn't know what to feel or how to face maan, so its better to walk out from there and she did that, when pari came she saw no one but mr handa's crying eyes.
