Totally agree...those were golden DD days, most of the shows were aired once in a week and had limited episodes, with honest and sincere approach towards creativity. Thankfully there was no TRP system then😆
Besides TRP system there was no competition & TV was a new medium & many film directors & producers also came to experiment with this medium ... but now it's just another mode of business. No matter how much we cry or yell on top of our voices nothing will change. They'll do whatever they think is commercially viable... After all they are also in business & no one would like to destroy his/her earning medium. Anyway one show gives living to at least 100 people at a time & if it gets axed then those 100 people would suffer & if PH protests then it might get black-listed... it's a sorry state of affairs in media...nothings will change unless this TRP system is reformed.
