Part 7:

'Thanks Yash for reminding of the purpose for which I took this project up!'

Throughout the meeting hereafter Maan kept glaring at Geet who was unknown to what was cooking in that famous brain!

"Okay since we are done with the introductions and also the orientation to our office, lets lead you to your future workspace!" Geet said in a cheerful attitude forgetting all about what happened over an hour ago, "But Guys I am really sorry but I have to go and take care of another project. I'm just a call away if you need me! I might come down in lunch to see how you guys are going!" saying so Geet moved off to the elevator, well everyone followed her but since they were supposed to be going down but 7^th floor is closer to 9^th than it is to the 2^nd the elevator moved up. When it did Geet just said," Well looks like you guys will be dropping me off at my floor but guys don't try and follow me please! The elevator door opens only for one with voice recognition. And I am extremely sorry but I am going to steal Adi away from you all as me and him have something to discuss about." Saying so Geet moved towards the elevator door and just said "Sunaina Singhania." While Adi followed saying "Adi Sehgal" Everyone was surprised with this revelation that Geet entered calling herself Sunaina. None knew why so they asked Yash to which he replied," Oh Don't worry guys that's Geet's internet ID and screen name. Well none knows her the way I do and I can assure you there's many things about her that you all don't know and might never know either so please next time you have this sort of a question just ask her and if she's ready for it she'll answer it for you."

Maan was lost deep in thoughts and lost a bit of the determined look on his face. (Taboo on his thoughts) He sighed looked up to see everyone roaming around the place and deciding what exactly they needed to make this place more like KC and Handa Industries. Adi and Yash seemed lost in conversation when Maan walked to them and heard only the end of it "I really don't know why she's doing this She must stop." Maan looked at them suspiciously and said," Who must stop what Adi? Oops Mr Sehgal?"

"Umm.. Maan don't worry about it we're just talking about the girls in our lives. As in right now Yash was talking about Meera! Anyways eavesdropping is a bad habit! Why are you here anyway?"

"Oh just wanted to ask if Geet is going to come down or not seeing that it's lunch time and I was hoping to have a chat with her."

"Oh Sure Maan! I'll try and wake her up the workaholic she is! Must be surrounded by files and forgotten the clock as always! Do you want to come along Maan?"

"Umm... ok..."

Maan was surprised to know that Adi was ready to take him to Geet's private space where she was supposed to be left alone and only the few people close to her were allowed. Also didn't Geet mention that only one person was to be admitted at the same time? Then how was he to go in? Well, If Adi turned out to be joking he was sure going to be very mad! The familiar *Ping* of the elevator shook him out of his thoughts. He just shrugged his shoulders and walked into the elevator with Adi. As he looked at Adi he was overcome with a wave of sadness and also a bit of guilt. He felt really bad and wanted to seek forgiveness from Adi.

"Adi I am sorry for whatever that happened between us! Can I have you back as my friend please?"

"Waah Maan two magic words at the same time? Oh Maan all the Drama about me ending my friendship was Geet's decision to make you realise my worth in your life. Geet is not that stone-hearted Maan she wouldn't be all that rude to anyone other than maybe me when I annoy her. But she's good at heart and you wanted to know what we talked about right? Well we were talking about Geet as she told me in her office today that she wanted to apologise to you today and that's exactly why she told me to call you up here. Don't worry Geet has configured the password link to your voice and you just have say your name for the elevator to admit you in."

Maan was surprised at the amount of words Adi spoke in one shot. As long as Maan remembered Adi was a quiet guy who wouldn't speak much! He just looked at Adi with a look of incredulity(amazement).

Adi didn't even look at him and answered," Geet ke sangat ka asar hona hi tha!"

After that they walked in saying their names. Maan just looked around confused, and feeling weird. How less space there was to walk! He could barely stand properly! And there were no doors in sight!! He just thought: What The ****!!!!
