A number of months back there was a hoohaa on this forum when a rumour was circulated that SNS may end. Information from Wikipedia, didn't know how accurate it was, put the running timeframe of May 2010 to 8th June 2012. We complained, emailed, swore, made effigies and burned them, cried, cursed the powers that be and generally kicked up a stink. Sitting back only when we received reaausrances that it was not ending. But the current track and happenings makes me think that actually, SP and PH had decided to end it then anyway. Hence the change of one of the lead characters without thinking of the consequences, the impact this whole chapter will have on Dev, the actress and her self confidence, on Gia and her future happiness and career, not to mention the total disregard they had for the SNS fanbase and viewers. Knowing that they could not end SNS without us kicking up a fuss they went down this road, whereby we are now waiting, nay, praying for it to end. SP, PH and RS you took the cowards way out. Instead of giving Saathiya a beautiful and credible ending, with an exposure of all the kalakaaries and a happy ever after you gave up and turned it in to crap personified.😡 You made a mockery of the actors, insulted the viewers and diddled us out of two days of a beautiful love story.

I'm still hoping for it to go on but I agree that is their actual goal. They make the fans do the dirty work to then say that they are bowing to their fans wishes 🤢

you are absolutely right xari. when the show ends the blame game will be pushed on gia and dev.
gia for leaving the show in the middle
and dev for not able to live up to the expectation.
the PH SP will escape non scratched.
they are mere bullies. who try to put their insecurities on others.
i hate RS. she ruins every one of her wonderful shows and breaks her audiences heart.

You're right Xar, never thought of it that way, but now they really do have a legitimate excuse to end the show, most of the audience are wanting it. Hmmm. I had said 6 months after Giaa left, we'll see if that happens or not.

well Xarina... if they have decided to end... as per your reference regarding the show being ending on June 8th was out sometime in April/May ... it was hard to believe that they would end so fast..and hence the outcry...

from april/may to june 8th (as per the initial date of ending it... they have quite some time,.. and all it takes is 2 weeks of strong script to bring it to a logical end by June 8th ..with Gia in the show.,..

ending the show was never the criteria.. if they really wanted to end by june..as i said .. they would have wrapped it up in couple of weeks ..

now replacing the lead.. risking their TRPs... changing the story.. going through all criticisms for the actor.. the channel and PH . they are just trying to hang on to it till the last... why give up when you have to fight ..

and change is in lead is definitely not to end the show...no one will go through the pain of finding and replacing the lead... and re shooting parts of it and changing the old pictures... changing the story/track.. introducing few more characters...only with a decision of ending the show in their minds..

in fact the PH .. the channel.. the actors are trying to salvage the show and kudos to them👏.. no one is giving up...if the trps go further down .. they will or might even wrap it up.. but why give up on it ... without even fighting ...

I dnt think they never wanted to end the show it was a rumour, now the time has come to end the show, but they will not end for another 3 to 6 months until they will see huge drop in TRPS. But story has lost its beautiful narration, now u can see only a stupid story and all the actors are struggling to pull audience attention, that is what is risking trps, because all the actors were acting naturally and now they are forced to act because they are thinking of trps and they are thinking that show has to run without gia. So this fact is making show go down the hills.

Xari, RS did not intend to end SNS. why would anyone kill a golden goose. She became overconfident and made the following blunders :

1) believe that actors are not important and audience can be taken for a ride

2) timing of the replacement: had the replacement come when the Goham romantic track was over and RajI track was being pursued the transit could have been smoother

3) choice of actress was wrong - both from her acting and her chemistry with co actors. I can forgive her for her chemistry with co actors but her monologues with Kanhaji fall flat too.

Off course RS is never going to acknowledge her fault. Gia and Dev are gonna be scapegoats.
