Peace, was a state of mind that K.K. Gupta had never known. Infact, she was sure that it was a state of mind that she would never know. Sighing, she rubbed her fingers on her temple in a slow circular rhythm in order to pre-emptively quell the migraine that was about to descend upon her if the idiot in the testimonial stand didn't shut up soon. Focusing again, she turned to her client sitting beside her in the wooden chair and gave her a look that said its now or never.

It was not often that you could shock a man like Arnav Singh Raizada. Infact, if one were to ask a certain Aman Singh, one would be surprised at his bosses' ability to maintain a cool demeanour even as
all hell broke loose. This, apparently, was far far worse than that. Aman Singh valued his job. No, really, he did. Aside from having to stick his head into the Lion's mouth on a daily basis, the perks were pretty good. Perhaps keeping this in mind, he chose his next words very very carefully. After all, they could be his last.
"Sir, Mohan Clothing Industries have signed a contract with Balwaant textiles" he quelled; "The sudden merger has caused our investors to panic and the stocks have... not irrevocably... fallen"
Like he said, this was far far worse than Hell.

As Khushi Gupta rose to face the judge, there were only two things that she needed to keep in mind to win the case. 1. She must prove, beyond reasonable doubt that the witness was lying and 2. That the defendant had previously known the witness before the night in which the murder had taken place. The jury would take care of the rest.

Shashi Gupta was not by any means an easy man to get along with. His struggle to reach the epitome of success by manufacturing textiles had left him ruthless and bitter. Although he had managed to establish one of the most successful textiles industries in New Delhi, he often wondered at what cost this had been accomplished. In his line of business, he had made more enemies than friends. However, if there ever was a salvation for Shashi Gupta, it was the only child from his first wife – Khushi Kumari Gupta. However ruthless and bitter he may have seemed to the outside world, for her, he would turn those damned mountains into molehills and then proceed to crush them beneath his feet. For her, he could do anything. Thus, as he stoically received the news from the doctor that he was indeed succumbing to ALS and would only live to see the change of another season, he decided on two things: 1. The business must have an heir, and if this were to become a reality, then Khushi Gupta must marry a buisnessman who could handle the Gupta empire and 2. Khushi must never find out about his condition. She must not be forced to helplessly watch as a parent suffered an agonizing death. Not again.
So, What's the Verdict? Should I continue?? Comment are much much appreciated, as is the like button!
