Part 5:
Maan got up at his usual time, a small smile formed on his lips when he saw his doll's pure and innocent face. He kissed her forehead and made his way to gym. He worked out but today there is some peace engulfed in him. After the work out, he took shower and went down to see whether milk is ready for his doll. He went to kitchen and asked nakul for milk. He gave the bottle to maan, he went upstairs and saw his doll sat on her bed with droppy eyes. Maan smiled at her and asked "baby, milk is ready chalo brush your teeth."
Though she is small she sensed some enthusiasm in her papa's voice, maan took her in his arms and brushed her teeth and gave shower to her. They both came out and maan made muskaan drink her milk and he himself prepared black coffee. Today is Sunday, maan is at home playing with doll at the same time doing his office work. After some time he called adi.
"Ye.. yes sir. Sorry good morning sir" wished adi. Maan shook his head and told "adi book tickets for me and muskaan for London tomorrow."
"Hehehehe.. why sir?" Asked adi.
"Adiii" shouted a frustrated maan. "Sorry sir, sure sir I will and call you back" told adi and cut the call.
Maan smiled himself and thought "I am coming geet". Anjali entered in KM and wished maan.
"Good morning bro."
Maan just nodded at her. :Bro I need to talk to you" asked anjali.
"Yes.. u can" answered maan. "Bro.. did you come to know anything about geet bhabhi?" Asked anjali.
Maan don't want to tell the truth to anjali without meeting geet, he knows anjali never liked geet.
"No I don't know anything" told maan still looking into his laptop. "Bro, I know its very hard for you to take care of muskaan alone. So I.. I want to tell you that your batch mate sameera di really loves you. So you both get marri'" before she continue maan roared "ANJALI.. what the hell u r talking?"
"Whats wrong bro, how many days you will wait for geet" retorted anjali.
"Geet bhabhi, don't forget that" told maan angrily. "Oh come on bro, she left with little girl but sameera is not like that she really loves you and still waiting for you" told anjali.
"We will wait for her for our entire life, take that sameera out from your mind" told maan. "Enough bro its 2 years she left us and do you think she will come?" Asked anjali.
"Yes, she will come for me, for our muskaan" told maan confidently. "Don't be in dream land bro, come to reality" told anjali frustrated listening to her bro.
"I am not in dream and anjali, in fact you are in dream world" told maan with so much attitude that a shiver of fear ran through her spine. "What do u mean bro?" asked anjali gathering her courage.
"Are you sure that you want to know what I am talking about?" Asked maan giving murderous glare to her. "Yes bro" she told confidently.
Maan smirked and told "well I appreciate your courage. From the start you don't like geet an'"
"One second bro, you are absolutely wrong. Its not that I don't like her, but its just that from the start I thought of sameera as DIL of this house. But when I came to know that you don't like her I was quite. But she told me, she really loves you and want to be mother of your child. That's the reason I asked you nothing else. But I do like geet, the problem is that she wont talk with anyone. You will be busy with your office work and geet bhabhi don't talk with anyone and I left alone in the house. I was so depressed after dadi's death, at that time sameera became my friend. But I was angry on bhabhi when she left you alone, we waited for 2 years bro, but not anymore" told anjali with tears in her eyes.
"I am craving for your love bro, I want my old bro who always use to take care of my small small things. I guess I failed to be your sister, bro mujhe tho maa ka pyaar kabhi mila hi pain, I don't want muskaan to face that" told anjali caressing her cheek.Maan realized tht he was wrong in understanding his sister.
Maan cupped her face and told "I am sorry anju, I know I am wrong, but I was not able to digest dadi's death and want to come out of that and for that reason I started spending most of the time in office, I failed to understand you. And I thought you don't like geet and want her to be out of my life."
"No bro, I can see love for her in your eyes. How can I bro? all I want is your happiness. But i think she dont like us bro, And in order to forget all that I too started going to parties and spend most of the time with friends. I am sorry for that bro, I should have understand your inner turmoil" told anjali and hugged her brother. Maan too hugged her back and caressed her hair. Seeing anjali crying even muskaan too started crying. They broke the hug listening her cry. Anjali took muskaan in her arms and asked :why my baby is crying?"
"U cly, me cly" told muskaan in her babyish voice. Maan and anjali smiled at her, anjali wiped her tears and told "me not crying." Muskaan looked at her and smiled.
"Bro, what about sameera?" Asked anjali fearing about his anger.
"No anju, I love only geet and I wont marry anyone told maan finally. But.. bro.. we don't know where is bhabhi and I don't think she will come to us now" told anjali.
"Yes she wont come but we have to get her" told maan looking at her. "But how? We don't know where is she? But why she left us?" Asked anjali.
Maan smiled sadly at her with pain in his eyes. "Bro, you are hiding something from me, haina?" Asked anjali. Anjali cupped his face and told "plz bro, tell me what is the matter." Maan hugged anjali and told "anju, we were happy in our life even though dadi is not there with us. We have everything. But geet's life is different, she had all of them in her life but even then she is alone."
Anjali came out of the hug and asked "what you are saying bro? I am not able to understand anything."
"Ha anju, no one cared for her, she is just living her life like a dead soul without any feelings. She was not allowed to speak, she was tortured and our marriage was a forced marriage for her. Just one day before of marriage she came to know she is getting married." Maan told about her past which he came to know from her diary. But not all the things, because it is very hard for him to digest and he don't want his sister know all the things.
Anjali is literally shaking after knowing all this. Her eyes became wide with horror. "Bro, I just cant believe this, bhabhi suffered so much. Now I understand why she is so quite and why she don't talk much. Bro I am with you, I want my bhabhi back" told anjali.
"Yes anju, your bhabhi is in London and I am going tomorrow with muskaan" told maan. "Bro, I will also come with you" requested anjali.
"But.."
"Plz bro, I completed my college, now I am free plz.."
Maan caressed her hair and told "ok, I will tell adi to book tickets for you too."
In London:
Geet reached her hospital and was busy in her work. In the afternoon Pinky reached London and called geet.
"Hello.."
"Hey di, I reached London, where r u? I wanna meet you" told pinky.
"Pinky I am in hospital now, you go home directly, I will meet you in the evening" told geet. "Ok di.." told pinky and cut the call.
Pinky sighed sadly. Just then her mobile rang and she was shocked to see the caller ID..
