Hello guys, I know I'm late I had said yesterday and even the update was ready but my net isn't working... I complained about it and now they are saying that my router is very old and I will have to change it... I also went to the cyber cafe today so that i could update earlier but then they did not allow me to use the pen drive... Finally I requested one of my building friend to allow me to use her PC and internet for few sometime. She came back from her work just sometime back and I was at her place within minutes...

So, I would like to dedicate this update to the birthday girls Varsh and Sneha (Yeah, I'm late here also) Belated Birthday Girls and God Bless...

~||Chapter 19||~

Arjun and Arohi were swaying along the music lost in each other when the music changed in the fast number and the bubble around them burst, bringing them to the real world. That's when they realized how closely they were dancing. Arjun's hands were still locked with Arohi's over her stomach and Arohi's head was leaning on his shoulder, her back still glued to his chest. Arohi turned her face to her side and their eyes met. They looked at each other for a few seconds until Arohi looked away in embarrassment, which was to be so close to Arjun. Arjun cleared his throat and slid his hands away from Arohi's stomach. Arohi took a step away and at that instant the warmth they were feeling while being close to each other was replaced by the coolness of the Air Conditioned party hall. Neither of them liked that coolness, all they wanted was to feel the comforting warmth again. To be in each other's arm's again . . . but why? The question came up in their minds suddenly and neither of them had answers to it. Shefali and Archana came and took Arohi with them leaving Arjun behind who for the rest on the night stole glances at Arohi and Arohi did the same.

The drive back home was awkwardly silent. Neither of them spoke anything and nor were willing to. All the while Arohi was looking out of the window and Arjun was looking straight ahead. They reached home and walked directly towards their rooms. "Arohi," Arjun said in a low voice just before Arohi was about to enter her room. She turned around and looked at Arjun. By his face it looked like he wanted to say something. And yes, he did want to say something, he wanted to apologize for his behavior; he didn't like this awkward silence between them. He looked directly in her eyes; trying to find the hurt, which he thought he would find because of his behavior. But her eyes were twinkling slightly and it clearly said that she wasn't upset about what happened in the party. But there were so many questions in her eyes, which was incomprehensible for him. "Goodnight," he said with a slight smile and changing the plan to apologize. He couldn't do that; by looking in Arohi's eyes he could say that apologizing will not be a good thing. It may only worsen things.

Arohi smiled back, she was glad that he broke the ice between them. She didn't understand how to do that, she didn't know what was going on in his mind. Weather he liked their dance as much as she did or not. His silence for once made her feel that he didn't like it and then when now he stopped her, she pretty much felt that he would apologize but then he said 'goodnight' and that one word, again changed everything and bought them back to normal. If he would have apologized, she would have thought that he regretted about their dance and she didn't want that, because she didn't feel like that. She very much liked that dance and also the feeling which she got when she was there swaying in his arms. And then it was her very first dance; not only with her husband but also of her life. When he had bought his hand forward, she was about to say no, but the look in his eyes made her do otherwise. She came out of the trail of thoughts when she felt something warm on her head.

Arjun waited for her to reply to his goodnight but saw her lost somewhere. There was this beautiful smile on her lips which made him smile wider. He took a few steps towards her and kissed her forehead which pulled her back from her thoughts and she looked up at him. "Goodnight," he said again and made Arohi flushed and she looked away. She realized that while she was lost in her own world, Arjun here was waiting for her to reply. Arjun looked at faint pink color on her cheeks and wanted to touch them, he remembered how soft they were when he had touched them before and wanted to feel the same thing again. But he controlled himself by curling his fist into a ball; his fingers digging his palm and trying to calm himself but his hands were itching to touch her cheeks. She looked up and smiled at him. "Goodnight, Sweet dreams," she said and walked into her room shutting the door. Arjun stood there for a few seconds and then went to his room.

~*~

Arjun was tossing and turning in his bed. He couldn't get any sleep. His and Arohi's dance was playing in his head again and again. Not that he minded it, but he was very tired and wanted to get some sleep. He sat up on his bed, placing the pillow on his back for support. He picked up the glass of water from the night stand and gulped it down. He closed his eyes and leaned his head on the headboard.

He pushed the covers aside and walked out of his room. He walked towards Arohi's room and slowly turned the door knob. He pushed the door a little open and looked inside only to find her bed empty and the lamp on her bedside switched on, which meant that she is still in her room. He walked inside and looked around the room. He looked towards the window and gasped looking at the sight in front of him. Arohi was standing by the window wearing a white satin night gown with the white robe over it. The moon was shining over her brightly making her face glow and her gown shine because of its light. Her hair was blowing because of the wind and there was a slight smile playing on her lips, looking towards the ocean and thinking about only she knows what. Arjun kept on looking at her. For him she was looking beautiful, just like an angel, his angel.

Yes, she is his angel. With this thought he slowly started walking towards her. His eyes not leaving her face. She moved her hair on one shoulder, making her slender neck visible to him which made breathing difficult for Arjun. He stopped just behind her, his warm breathe falling on her neck making Arohi gasp. She turned her head towards Arjun and their lips almost touched. She looked in Arjun's eyes which were dark with passion and there was some kind of hunger in them. He kept his hands on her shoulder lightly and then turned her completely towards him; not breaking the contact of their eyes. His hands, very slowly moved down from her shoulder making her shiver, a little dizzy and her breathing hitched. One of his hands found its way towards her waist and pulled her closer; Arohi's chest crashed with his hard one and it was now becoming hard for her to breathe, she so wanted to look away from his eyes but something was holding her up. His other hand came up and his fingers caressed her cheeks lightly and he could feel them getting warm under his touch whilst Arohi closed her eyes, feeling the warmth of his fingers. Arjun's eyes moved all of her face and stopped at her nose, looking at the nose ring which shined when the moonlight fell on it. He looked at the small piece of metal which was complimenting her beautiful face and smiled. "You look so beautiful," he couldn't help the words which escaped his lips in a low husky voice. Arohi slowly opened her eyes only to look in his dark brown ones. The moment her eyes made contact with his, she knew that whatever he said, he meant all of it.

They looked in each other's eyes until Arjun leaned down and placed a light kiss on her neck. He then nipped her skin out there and then his lips found their way up towards her ear. He took and her earlobe in his mouth and bit it gently and Arohi hissed feeling a very light pain. He moved back down kissing her neck. Arohi hands moved up from his chest finding its way towards his neck, grabbing at his T-Shirt tightly as she tilted her head to the side giving him more access. His hands find the tie of her robe and untied it. They then came to her shoulder and pushed the robe down, while still kissing the other side of her neck. He lips now moved towards her now almost bare shoulder. "Arjun," she moaned breathlessly when he bit her shoulder. Arjun licked at the bite he gave trying to ease the pain while Arohi's hands were now locked in his hair as if trying to keep him in place, not wanting him to stop.

"You do something to me Arohi," Arjun said as he kissed all over her face, not leaving a single spot. He stopped when he reached her lips. He looked at her eyes which were closed. He could feel her chest heaving against his. Arohi opened her eyes when she didn't feel his lips and looked in his eyes. Arjun picked her up in his arms and walked towards her bed not leaving the contact for their. Arohi's hands as a reflex came up on Arjun's shoulder's and locked behind his neck, playing with his small hair. He laid her down on the bed gently and then moved on top of her. He looked at her face, which was now glowing because of the night lamp. "I want you, Arohi," he said in almost a whisper and waited for Arohi to say something. Arohi didn't say anything but moved her hands over his shoulder, then slowly moving them towards his neck and pulled him a bit down. She parted her lips slightly giving him permission. He moved his hand forward to switch off the night lamp but it accidently hit the glass there and . . .

*CRASH*

Arjun woke up with a startle and looked around. Where was he? He was supposed to be in Arohi's room and on her top, he thought while he took in his surroundings. It took him few minutes to realize that he was in his room, on his bed and in a sitting position. He sighed and leaned back on the head board. He tilted his head from side to side to remove the crick from his neck which was because of sleeping in an odd position. He massaged his neck with one of his hands and looked at the time, it was six, and he was up early. His eyes then fell on the floor where the pieces of broken glasses lay and his eyes grew wide, breath hitched and heart rate doubled as his dream flashed in his mind. "Wh . . . what was that?" he asked himself, his voice breathless. 'It was a dream you idiot,' said something in the back of his mind. "Yeah . . . Yeah, A . . . dream, a dream," he realized and then again questioned himself, "why this . . . this kind of a . . . a dream?" 'Because you want that,' his mind said again. "No," he said a little loudly, "no I don't want that." 'Yes you do, you wanted to do that all evening,' his mind said. "No, no, no," Arjun said shaking his head from side to side, no he didn't want that. It was just a dream and a dream can be anything . . . yeah, it can be anything, it's not something to worry about. Maybe it was that beer he had had later that night. He concluded but deep down he knew that having just a glass or two of beer will not make him high, but just to reason himself he made up that it was all because of the beer.

He bought the broom and dustpan and cleaned the mess. Apparently, later that night while he had sat on his bed with his head rested on the head board and glass still in his hand, he had fallen asleep sometime during that and had . . . uhh . . . dreamt about him and Arohi. And then the glass must have slipped out of his hand and fell on the floor, breaking his dream. He walked down towards the kitchen and dropped the pieces in the trash. He kept the broom back at its place and walked towards the terrace. He kept his hand on the railing and looked towards the sea. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes only to open them the very next second as the image of Arohi standing by the window flashed in his mind and everything that happened after that in his dream. "Oh God," he muttered and rubbed his forehead with his fingers, this wasn't helping him. But at one point he was glad that the glass fell at the right time, he didn't know what would have happened if the dream would have proceeded but at the back of his mind he wanted to know where this dream would have proceeded. "Sh$%," he cursed the moment that thought came in his mind. He needs to get away from thinking about the dream. He then decided to go for a run, it had been a long time since he's done that and it will also help him to get away from the dream. He went back to his room, changed into his track pants and a sleeveless T-Shirt. He wore his running shoes, grabbed his iPod and earphones and walked down. He scribbled something on a small paper and stuck it on the fridge. He walked out of the apartment and took the lift, plugging on his earphones and putting the music on the highest volume so that his mind does not wander off . . . anywhere. The watchmen on duty greeted him as soon as Arjun walked out of the lift. Arjun just nodded in response and jogged out of the society gate towards the path near the seashore and continued running.

~*~

"Arjun?" Arohi said when she walked in Arjun's room after knocking on his door and not getting any reply. His bed was unmade with a T-Shirt and a pajama scattered over it. She knitted her eyebrows, trying to hear any sound of shower running in his bathroom. When she didn't hear anything she walked out of his room and down the stairs assuming that Arjun would be down. She first looked in the living room and then walked towards the terrace when she saw the gate of the terrace was open but Arjun was not there. She then checked the study and then finally walked in the kitchen. She got tensed when she couldn't find Arjun anywhere. Her eyes then fell on the paper on the fridge. She sighed after reading the note by Arjun saying that he's gone for a run. She leaned against countertop, closed her eyes and took a few breathes of relief. She opened her eyes when she heard a faint sound of the main door opening.

Arjun entered his apartment feeling completely relaxed. The run and the loud music had helped his mind fully relaxed. He walked towards the dining table and poured himself a glass of water. His eyes then fell on the figure leaning against the countertop and moved all over it. Her skin gleamed as the early morning rays fell on her face through the window, her dark brown hair was shining, and her eyes . . . the moment he looked in her eyes, his whole dream came rushing in his mind and he took a sharp intake of breathe. The white salwaar kameez which she was wearing was not helping. She looked so similar to the Arohi in his dream. The only difference was in his dream it was the moon making her skin glow and here it was the sun. And her white nighty was replaced by white salwaar kameez which was hugging her body showing her perfect curves. She was looking no less than a goddess and he wanted to do all those things which he did in his dream and more.

Arohi was all the while looking Arjun who was covered in sweat. His T-shirt was completely damp sticking to his body enhancing his toned chest and abs. The muscle of his forearm flexes as he lifts the jug of water and pours it in the glass. A shiver ran down her spine and she grabbed the countertop tightly when Arjun looked at her and his brown eyes turned dark. They kept on staring in each other's eyes for god knows how long until . . .

*CRASH*

Arjun and Arohi looked down at the floor, near Arjun legs where now the glass pieces were scattered. "F@$#," Arjun swore looking at the glass pieces. This was second glass which he'd broken in less than 2 hrs. Arohi hissed when Arjun swore making him look at her for a split of second. She had never heard Arjun swear. "Sorry," he said when he realized that the word he used was inappropriate and he ran his fingers through his hair roughly almost pulling them. He then bent down and gathered the glass pieces muttering something about being careless.

Arohi looked at an angry Arjun trying to figure out the source of his angriness but couldn't come up to a conclusion. She then heard him mutter something under his breath and didn't understand a single word he spoke. She shook her head, grabbed a broom and a dustpan and walked towards where the glass was scattered and before Arjun would hurt himself by the glass pieces. "Leave, I'll clean it," she said but her words fell on deaf ears. She sighed and bent down. She took hold of Arjun's wrist to stop him only to make him pull his hand away.

The moment her hand touch his, he felt a shock of electricity pass through his skin making him pull his hand away. He looked towards Arohi, whose brows were knitted together, giving him a questioning look. And he knew she wanted to know the reason for his abrupt behavior. He looked away avoiding her questioning look and not wanting a direct contact with her eyes. "I . . . I'll go . . . get . . . get ready," Arjun stammered and rushed out towards the stairs leaving a flustered Arohi behind. Arohi stayed rooted in the same position trying to figure out the reason for his odd behavior. She shook her head when she could not think of the reason and cleaned the mess. She gathered the glass pieces in dustpan, put it in the trashcan and started preparing breakfast.

~*~

Arjun removed his sweaty clothes and stepped into the shower, deliberately turning on the cold water. He stood under the cold water for a long time trying to calm his nerves which helped him to a certain point. He then turned the hot water on and washed his hair. He walked out of the bathroom wrapping a towel around his waist and drying his hair with the other one. He picked the first piece of clothing he saw in his wardrobe and changed into them.

He sighed and sat on the edge of his bed, completely ready for work. He rubbed his hand over his face not ready to go down and face Arohi and avoiding thinking about how beautiful she looked in the white salwaar kameez. He sat there for a while and decided to go down before Arohi would come up looking for him and question him. He was not sure if he could answer her question without thinking about the dream. He grabbed his laptop bag and blazer and walked down in a slow motion as if it would help him from not thinking about Arohi and the dream. He reached down and looked at Arohi who was setting up the table. He immediately looked away before his mind would start thinking dirty. He looked around the living room trying to find something interesting which could divert his mind, but he found nothing.

"Arjun?" Arohi said when she saw Arjun lost in his own thoughts. She saw him getting rigid for a second before he looked at the time in his wrist watch. He didn't look towards her but she knew that he had heard her. She looked at him curiously waiting for him to come to the dining table or say something. She started walking towards him and stopped when she heard him say, "I have to go to the office . . . I got a call . . . uh . . . something came up and uh . . . Dhruv is uh . . . Dhruv is not picking up his phone . . . uh . . . you . . . haan . . . why don't you call Shefali and ask her to pick you up . . . I'm sorry but I cannot drop you at the university today," Arjun stammered, not looking at Arohi, as if trying to avoid her. He waited for a second and rushed out of the apartment after mumbling a bye. Arohi looked at Arjun's back as he rushed out of the living room. His figure disappeared as he entered the corridor and then she heard the sound of the door closing which only said that he was gone.

Now she was getting a feeling that he was avoiding her. He had never left like this; had never told her to call Shefali and go with her, even if he was very busy, even if his work was unavoidable, he'd made sure that he would drop her off at college, then why did he leave like this today? Arohi questioned herself. Maybe his work must really be very important and he could not keep his employees waiting for it. But he could have called Dhruv, but then he said that Dhruv was not picking up his phone. Arohi shook her head; she was very confused but concluded that Arjun really had an unavoidable important work, though it was very unconvincing. She looked at the untouched breakfast; she covered the bowls and kept them in the fridge, she was not feeling hungry anymore. She then called up Shefali and asked her to pick her up for the college.
