A minute feels like an hour! Please update ...and if i may add...more than 1 chapter (cheeky me :P) ... so many days without hte updates on this story (esply with the telecasted -official- one taking its own time as well) is leaving us readers impatient, tensed, jumpy! Pl soothe the frayed nerves and treat us with 2-3 nice big fat chapters ! :D

Scene 18

Ishika had put her head on Anandi's chest while Anandi was stroking her hair.

There was a knock at the door. Anandi saw Hansa walk in holding a tray laden with tea and snacks. Ishika quickly turned her face away as she tried to hide her tears.

Hansa placed the tray on the dressing table besides Ishika's bed. She then poured tea into two cups. Anandi noticed that there was another brownish liquid on the third cup.

'Ye lo Anandi, aur ye lo Ishika thumharay liye. Hot Chocolate' Said Hansa with a kind smile as she handed them their beverage

'dhanyavad. Main abhi aathi hun' Anandi said as she got up to leave to her room

'Baito beta. Aapnay tho dinner bhi nahi kiya. Mujhe bohot sharmindagi mehsoos ho rahi hai' said Hansa as she touched Anandi's shoulders gently.

'koi baat nahi. Mujhe waise bhuk nahi lag rahi thi' Said Anandi

'Anandi ji' Said ishika

'ji?' said Anandi as she turned around

Ishika walked up to her and hugged her

'Thank you'

Anandi gently stroke Ishika's cheek with her hands and smiled at her and left to her room.

How Anandi got back to her room, she could not remember. Her legs must have taken her back. All she could remember were Ishika's tears and her pain. Her body still could sense the shaking sobs of Ishika and the entire traumatic episode was playing again and again in front of her eyes.

A woman's self respect had no value. It could be bought, sold, degraded and discarded anytime by anyone. A father, brother, son, husband, those who should protect her, respect her, treat her like a precious gem are usually the first to hurt.

What's the difference between Ishika and herself? she thought painfully

'Excuse me.. suniye'

Shiv had knocked her room's door

Anandi looked up and quickly composed herself.

'Main maafi chahtha hun aaj ke liye' said Shiv apologetically

'main samajh sakthi hun' said Anandi staring at the opposite wall as if lost in deep thoughts.

She wanted to help Ishika.

Should I tell Shivji? Anandi thought to herself

Anandiji aap pareshan lag rahi hain. Kya sabh kuch teekh hai?

I mean Ishika..Shiv hestitatingly asked Anandi

Anandi looked at Shiv and with a determined look she continued

'ji..'

Anandi looked at shiv and narrated to him the entire incident. She noticed how shiv's face color changed with every passing moment.

She could sense the anger and knew that if not stopped, the situation can worse.

'Shiv ji' said Anandi as she saw Shiv ready to storm out of the room

As if something had stopped him. Shiv looked back at Anandi. Hearing his name from her mouth for the first time seemed to effect him in ways he did not know was possible.

'aap please baitiye.. she said

'Mujhe lagtha ki is baat ko hum aagay na badaain. Mera matlab hai ki aap apnay ghar walon ko ye baat na batain.

'Ishika bohot dari hui hai. Akhir uski umer hi kya hai'..

Sirf 16 saal ki hai. Aur jab aisi baat saamnay aathi hai tho ek ladki ka manobal bohot kamzoor ho saktha hai.' She said looking at shiv intensly

'Ishika ko lagtha hai ki uski college ki padayi rokh dee jayegi' she said looking at shiv

Shiv shook his head with disgust and anger at the same time when he looked at Anandi she saw the helpless look of a brother in him.

'hum usey dusray college main daal dengay' he continued with the same helpless tone

'Shiv ji kya us college main aise ladkay nahi hongay? Agar na bhi hon tho kya jeevan kay har mod per aise log nahi milthe? she asked him

'dekhiye agar aap uska college change kerthay hain tho usko lagega ki , uski galthi hai. Jabke uski galthi nahi hai' Said Anandi

Shiv continued to look at Anandi helplessly

'mera sujhav ye hai ki aap College main complain karain aur uskay mata pita ko uski is harkat kay baray main batayain. Aksar ye dekha jatha hai ki, mata pita , unkay aulaad ki galthiyon se anjaan hothay hain.

ho saktha hai ki ghar per pata chalnay sey , is sthithi main sudhar aye

Shiv looked at the furniture besides him. He held on it and got up. Anandi had never seen him so shaken. She had always seen his strong side and this vulnerable shiv was making her feel apprehensive.

Shiv ji.. Anandi called him as shiv turned to leave

'aap teekh tho hain na? she asked

Shiv nodded and then left the room

Scene 19

'I do not think my sister is safe in your college. What has happened is unacceptable' Said Shiv sternly to Mrs. Francesca, the Principal.

'I completely understand and we will take appropriate measures regarding this matter' she assured

'Roney, this is your third complaint and as I warned previously, that ONE more slip up from you, it would be your last.

You can no longer attend this college and I will see it to it that any other college in this country thinks twice before they accept you' Said Mrs. Francisca angrily

'you can't do that. My father is one of the board members. You can't kick me out. I will ask him to take you out' shouted Roney back at her

' I am afraid that it was your father's suggestion Mr. Roney. He feels that we have given you too many chances and agrees with our decision. He feels that we cannot ruin the reputation of our college and risk our jobs for you' said Mrs. Francesca with finality boarding in her voice.

'This isn't over man! I will get you'I will get-ch you. Do you hear me?" shouted Roney at Ikshu with spitefully

'security please remove this boy from our premises' called Mrs. Francesca on her intercom

The security removed Roney , who was struggling to free himself from their hold

"And you' she said turning to Ikshu

"Regardless of the situation, what you have done is not acceptable. If you had any problem you should have come to me but instead you took matters in your hand.

This way things just get worse. So you will be suspended for two days and next time'. and I hope there will be none, just come to me' Said Mrs. Francesca

"Thank you" Said Shiv as he shook her hands. He then walked out with Neel and Ikshu

'Chalo ek tho acha kaam hua ki us ladkay ko college sey nikaal diya' Said Neel as they walked down the stairs towards the parking lot.

'lekin shiv thumnay mujhe ye sab kiyun nahi bataya ki us ladnay nay'..' Said Neel with worry

'Aur thum Ikshu, thum bhi chup rahe , jab main kal puch raha tha' He continued

'Papa, Ghar per Ishika kay saamnay aapko kaise batata?' reasoned Ikshu

'Chachu, please aap ishika sey kuch math puchiye. Usey ye dar hai ki aap usey college nahi aanay dengay' said Shiv remembering Anandi's words.

'Hum Hain na, sambhal lengay use' said Shiv as he opened the car door for his uncle.

'AAAY!!! came a scream from behind them

As Neel turned around he saw Roney pointing a gun straight at Ikshu's back

'IKSHU! shouted Neel as he pushed him to the ground and a loud cracking sound followed it

'PAPA---

'Chachu' screamed both Shiv and Ikshu together

'PAPA !...

you BASt'.' screamed Ikshu as he tried to run after Roney

'Ikshu ! Chachu! screamed Shiv as he saw blood oozing out and Neel's face became constricted with pain.

'Ikshu jaldi sey mujhe voh kapda day' Said Shiv frantically as he pointed towards the car's trunk.

Shiv pulled his uncle's arm back and tied the area below the wound tightly with the cloth. They then helped Neel into the car's back seat and took off to the hospital.

'Bhaiyyah Jaldi' cried Ikshu

Shiv drove fast and went to the nearby hospital. They pulled into the emergency. Shiv immediately got off and came back with paramedics who had brought a stretcher with them.

'Ikshu thum jao aur saray paper work sambhalo, main chachu kay saath andhar jatha hun'

'ji bhaiyyah' answered Ikshu as he ran towards the reception area

Scene 19 b

Anandi had been working on her computer when the phone rang

'hello.

'Anandi ..'called Shiv

Anandi could immediately sense that something was not right.

'kya hua? sab teekh tho hai? she asked him

'Anandi , Chachu ko goli lag gayi hao' said shiv, his voice shaking

'kaise? kab?!' asked Anandi shocked

'Us ladkay nain gussay main aaker ikshu per goli chalanay ki koshish ki aur chachu beech main aa gaye'

'abh kaise hain voh?' asked Anandi

'Doctos keh rahe hain ki goli shoulder ko scratch kerthay hue nikli hai aur thoday tissues rupture hue hain lakin khatre ki koi baat nahi hai' said Shiv

Anandi sighed with relief

'Shiv ji aap fikr na karain. Sabh teek ho jayega' Anandi reassured him

'Lekin ghar per kaise bataun? 'Samaj nahi aa raha tha' isiliye aapko call kiya hai. Agar ghar call kertha tho pata nahi kon phone uta letha?

'aap phir ghar per batana nahi chahthay? asked Anandi

'Anandi I don't know what to do. Sari family pareshan ho jayegi aur chachi'' said Shiv now sounding completely worried

'Acha shiv ji please aap dheeraj rahkhye. Main kuch kerthi hun'

'Ikshu kahan hai?' she asked

'voh , chachu kay saath hai'

'Acha aap ikshu ko ghar bejdijiye main phir dekhthi hun ki kya kerna hai' Said Anandi and she hung up the phone

This is going brilliant Suchi ! Not such AnSh story but story of 2 families. This like BV - season 2.
