Although I was never a member of laddo forum, I'll reply to your post.
@@@ EN-It was most remiss of me to NOT reply to your post-I am now!
It was so heart breaking to hear the news of laddo going off air. It was the best show ever on TV, with really nice concept and real tough situations. I don't think there was or will be a better show than ladoo
@@@ I don't agree. In fact,I think Laddo after the leap, is the one of the most regressive and unrealistic show on the Telly. It is NOT enough to say in a disclaimer that the producers oppose all the retrograde practices, yet to show them with such unseemly relish.
The three shows that should really go off air from colors are Balika Badhu and Uttaran and Parichay. But, I am surprised that people don't watch such a beautiful show like ladoo. All they watch is Anandi's fake "mahanta," and Uttaran and Parichay's "sensetional romance" Strange !!!
@@@ I agree about Uttran and Parichay(or ANYTHING from the FektaMatas stable!)
I don't agree about BV.See, living in a village changes your perspective.I have NEVER seen a woman such as Ammaji in a Haryana village...but I have seen efforts made by a FEW villages to rehabilitate child widows-educate them, teach them a vocation so that the in-laws/parents STOP considering them a societal & financial burden.
Yes, I would definitely like to see Ammaji's death, that would make such a beautiful ending to the most amazing and different show in the world "ladoo." Laddo brings such cool concepts, like Raghab's betrayal to Sia, daughter child's death, child outside marriage (Karan), keeping women away from election, the struggle of mothers who are not married yet (Tanisha, Sara), Janvi's three marriage, Ammaji's fight with her own sons, husband's cheating to their wives (Aditya), which is such a common concept... and so many more.
@@@ COOL CONCEPTS? I BEG YOUR PARDON? There is nothing remotely cool about the "concepts" you list as "cool". They are a harsh, heart breaking REALITY that rural women have to LIVE with so DO please excuse me for not celebrating a character who epitomizes the worst traits of a woman and is a perfect example of the never discussed fact that the worst atrocities on women are perpetrated by other women. I find her CHARACTER an abomination though the actress has consistently done a brilliant job of portraying her.
It is passing strange that the death of the main lead should be considered "a beautiful" thing!
No, people would not watch such a serious and real like problems in show.
@@@I beg to differ-people DID watch Laddo when there was hope of redemption-it gets tiresome to watch all Ammaji's evil deeds go punished AND repeated in the next generation
All they will watch are BV where people/men are always ready to accept a widow (so unrealistic)
@@@ Again I beg to differ-there ARE people who accept widows and divorcees! Even in India! In BV at least there IS some growth and broadening of minds happening-and you are RIGHT-Anandi's unremitting mahanta gets on my nerves too!! But perhaps my POV is colored by LIVING in a village that shares many problems shown in BV
and disgusting romance (Ekta kapoor's famous type romance, two lovers would never meet, but who are bound together in marriage would definitely fall in love). These actually prove that how irresponsible and blind people are to the society, to the struggle of a men/women in a society.
@@@ 100% agree!
Even here people want only Janvi-Surya romance, not the serious situtaion that is roused by the evil deeds of aditya. People tend to close their eyes from those situtaion and only want romance !!!. That is the only reason Indian hindi dramas have not got out of those disgusting romance sequel (first hate, and then for get your true love, you family, your respect, love whom-ever you are married to...) and the waiting of the auddience for the special night. Strange people's mind who only watch a show for romance and that night in every jodi, everywhere in every channel.
@@@ You stole my thoughts and words! I detest the mooning that goes on in the forum about the "hot" male and the longing for romantic scenes or the panting anticipation for the suhag raat- seriously sex starved souls! I mean,WTH,on one forum I stumbled upon a raging war over-if the lead looked better in today's PINK sari or in last year's purple one!!!
That is why i tend to stick to shows like Satyamev--it out lines a problem & offer SOME solution. Also it is time bound so cannot afford to meander into unwanted, unwieldy and unrealistic tracks to feed the Trp/Tpr monster
All audiences want is romance... and when laddo tried to show a different and realistic concept instead of romance, it is going off air. 😲😲😲. Even couple of years ago Hindi show was really beautiful, think about "Kahin Kisi Rozz," how beautiful its end was. And now, when a drama does not show "happily ever after" at the end, people say "lanat to that drama." As if "happily ever after" is norm and very common in real life !!!!!!!!!!😆😆😆
@@@ SO young and so cynical?...psst...happily ever after DOES happen sometimes to some people!
So, yes, I want the ending to be realistic and beautiful and the most memorable with Ammaji's death.
@@@@ Please do come to the SMJ forum-there are some VERY intelligent young ladies, very articulately voicing their views-you & Monster will enjoy the exchanges there.
@ goddessisgaga
I love your post. You have exactly said what I wanted from the beginning of this show, since I was always sure that neither Sia, nor Dia nor Janvi but only Ammaji is the lead protagonist of Laddo. This show is about her. She is the Anti-protagonist (like Devdaas, Ganster, Antigone) of this show. So this end would perfectly fit the overall mood of the show.
@@@ I think I HAVE addressed all your points-hopefully to your satisfaction! If not, feel free to box my ears! Politely!
Again apologies if I trod on your toes-intention was NOT to give offense
