As for reports of a show down between her and Cezanne on the sets of Kasautii, she says, "How can I have a fight on the set when I have only recently gotten back on the show? These are idle minds at work."
Female bonding
On her moving in with Teejay, Shubha says, "The only reason I am staying with Teejay is because the lease on my old house got over. Since she's my best friend and has always been there for me, I decided to move in with her till I find some other accommodation. Presently, I am staying at her flat in Bandra."
Shubha adds that she and Teejay have a lot in common. "Not only do we come from foreign countries — she's from Canada and I'm from Australia — but we also bond really well. I remember meeting her on the Kasautii sets with Manoj, and we hit it off immediately. I guess our friendship has come a long way since then."
Home truths
She is thrilled about Teejay's recent engagement to Manoj Bohra (Prem in Kasautii). "I'm really happy for both of them. They are fabulous people and deserve nothing but the best."
On the home front, the actress says she really doesn't have time to indulge in household chores. "We have a maid, since both of us work all day. But both of us love to eat. I'm a total foodie, while Teejay's more into fitness. She doesn't eat too much junk food."
For the moment, Shubha is uncertain about how long she will stay with Teejay. "I'm loving every moment of being with her. I think I'll be here till the time I find a new place."
