Has a project ever been announced that has got you excited and there after been shelved?

I really wanted to see Komagata Maru by Deepa Mehta, make it to the big screen. It was announced with a lot of hype and was to star AB sr and later Akki. It dealt with the sensitive issue of racism and the plight of the first Indian immigrants to step foot in Canada and the face off with the Canadian authorities. Based on a true story, I'm sure Deepa would have done justice to it. But unfortunately, the movie never got rolling. Huge Budgets, Date problems and the works. Hugely dissappointing.

So has there been a film, that you've been massively excited about and has never seen the light of day?

Waiting for Anurag Kashyap's DOGA.It has taken too much time.

Though he said he would make it after Bombay Velvet.

Thought SLB was planning to make Bajirao Mastani with Salman and Ash? i wish that movie was made..i know it is impossible...they both were a beautiful couple

Ages ago when Rajkumar Santoshi was in demand he wanted to make a film with SRK, Salman, Aamir. That would have been something to watch out for.

There was no script. Nobody was approached. No technicians, music, producers nothing.

It wasn't a film, just a thought.

Time machine sounds intriguing. Even though a subject like that totally depends on the director or you end up with Love Strory 2050.
