Watched the episode.
Today it was the day of dark comedy. I felt the tension. I am seeing the old Saanchi who is always scared in that house because of that idiotic mother. That is the sole reason why Saanchi lies all the time. One can't fight parents and yet need to get away from them.
Back in the jungle or even earlier in the university campus, be it with Indu Singh or with Mehak, is a free bird, Saanchi dares to dream, dares to achieve something..
Back at her home, all that Saanchi does is trying to guage the mood of her parents, be ready with pep-talks and look tense all the time. She starts being scheming around them because in that house, no one ever thinks other than fretting. And poor Saanchi to act as an adult, in that shoes of trying to be obedient dutiful daughter and yet try to achieve her ambitions ! don't know what she goes through with.
Veenaji would never have wanted Saanchi to study much. She would have wanted Saanchi to get married had it not been for Indu Singh's fateful entry into their family.
The tension bug caught Indu also. He feels it so much. I am getting the feeling that this guy may start feeling embarrassed of himself for having thought of himself as a life-partner for Saanchi. The Mathur house is truly suffocating. Saanchi may acknowledge or not, but the kind of marriage she had with Indu Singh is a blessing in disguise for her to slowly come away from her mother's grip.
I am seriously interested to know now, that; if the show was just a comic type, how come they bring forth the psychological factors upon the characters in such a subtle and intelligent manner. š
Even as it turned out a dark comedy today, but must say all characters were in form.
And what I liked most:
Indu still trying to be himself in that prison. The way he talked at the table, he seemed to have more manners than the other 3. He praised the food served to him like any guest would do. Asked where to wash hands as any guest would do. Alas! he was not the invited guest and had to obey Saanchi's command. Why did he agree at all ? Abhi tak they are not doing anything to collect proofs against Shukla. Two nights since they ran away.š
The way Indu revolted back saying will the towel tell him that it should not be used, I felt warm for not forgetting himself. Nahin to the Mathurs were all bent to make him dumb and Mute.
And other thing I liked was him trying to entertain himself by making faces in the mirror...aping Saanchi's smile. That tells us how jovial and fun loving he is. That's why that tapori gang of his.
And in between, how beautifully they incorporated the scene to show his tact and alert when the door-bell rings.
Saanchi was concerned and helpful in tending to Indu's wounds. Not a surprise when she once helped the roadside accident victim in that daring manner. However, doing it right under her mother's nose, makes me think, where she keeps her strength reserved for such use. I just marvel at her.
And lastly a big applause to performance and acting all round for all the characters today.
