Part 4

Few days passed Radhika and Dev crossed each other but by surprise they didn't provoke each other just walked pass as if they were complete strangers. Dev somehow felt awkward that they weren't facing each other . He got used to her screaming and her intimidating but now she didn't seem to want to bother him anymore …

One beautiful afternoon , Dev saw Radhika wearing her pink blouse and skirt with a colorful green duppata lingering over her shoulder . Dev couldn't hold himself and turned to look at her , she seemed in her own thoughts walking down the muddy lanes ….

Dev wanted to know what she was up too ..Without her knowing he followed her around . He saw her walking near a quite alley and saw her holding a mans collar asking for money..

"Kyun re.. Suka patte ki tara kya kampra re beh .??" ( Hey !Why are you shaking a a dry leaf ? She asked intimidating .."Chal nikal paise.."( Come on take out your money!)

The man took out his money scared of her knife , she pushed the man lightly snatching the money ..

"Aree itne sareee paise …" She said chewing her gum counting the money ..
( W0w! So much money!)

The man pleaded her not to do this to him , she frown her brows and took just half of the money and let the man go …Dev shook his head , he wanted to help the man but he left out of his sight .

Dev kept following Radhika , she was walking pass a temple and a blind man sitting on the side ..She grabbed him by the collar and snatched the mans glasses .. "kyun beh ..acha natak karle tha hai!" (Well well you do nice acting!) She said knowing that this man wasn't blind .

The man started running away seeing Radhika's knife. Dev was surprised that the man wasn't blind! He saw Radhika take the money that the man left in his cap . She walked further down and poured all the money in a blind man pot . The man that she gave the money too was really blind he wasn't faking , he blessed Radhika and she walked away contently …Dev eyes turned tender seeing this and smile seeing such action from her …Radhika walked down the market place and took a apple slickly ..She saw a little boy reaching for one and she gave it to him…

"EHHH chori ….paise de !?" The salesman said .
(HEY GILR! Wheres the money!)

"Abeh chup! Dedi hoon .." She gave the man more then he needed
(oh Shut up! I'm giving it!)

"Chall chote ..jitna tera maan hai utna hi lele .." She said to the boy ..
(Little one , take how many as you like..)

The little boy filled up his shirt with many apples and left thanking Radhika

She was munching on her apple and Dev followed , he didn't know that she had a soft corner in her heart like this .It was just so overwhelming to see and a tender smile appeared on his lips …
Radhika was walking pass her college and saw few boys teasing a girl . She walked to them sternly and pointed the knife towards them , she held one of the boys collar tightly

"Kyun re beh ..Ladki ko cherta hai! Agar maine tuhje phirse aise karte hue deka to tuh sida upaar !" She said looking up at the sky ..(Hey you! don't you dare bother the girl ..If I see you do this again you will go straight up!)

The young boy was terrified ,seeing the knife over his neck his friends ran away .

"Chal ! Phut yahan se" ( Get lost you punk!) She said giving him a strong push .Dev laughed inwardly so amazed by this , all the boys were afraid of her? Dev wondered , he never saw this before . Dev somehow felt happy that at least there was one girl that knows how to defend herself and her name was Radhika …

HE continued following her and saw Radhika downa tiny lane going towards the ice cream man and bought the whole box of kulfi . Dev frowned his brows wondering where was she going with that? .HE just walked the same way Radhika was walking , she skipt on few rocks cutely and jumped of satisfied. Dev just smiled seeing this and then realized that he ended up in a orphanage .. It was the same Orphanage that Dadima talked about ..But what was she doing here??

Radhika walked in the back garden with open space and greenery and saw around 20 kids playing around their was all ages until 12 . The kids ran to Radhika she distributed the kulfi excitedly . Dev heart fluttered seeing such action from her . He ran his fingers through his hair feeling so bad that he acted such way with her …..He saw Radhika eating kulfi like a little girl and grinned boyishly …Suddenly he heard the priest and he smiled ..

"Radhe Radhe mandhav ji " Dev said ..

The priest welcomed him in the garden , the kids were indulged with their kulfi and Radhika presence .Dev came in smiling meeting the members of the orphanage ……

Radhika was sitting on the bench eating her kulfi with the little kids surrounded with green grass and big healthy trees , they were all enjoying their kulfi ..

She glanced up and saw Dev talking with the priest . She frown her brows and pursed her little grimly what was he doing here! She tried to avoid him as much as possible but he always comes in front of her ! Today he was in the orphanage as well. She grumped and looked away listening to the kids innocent talks .

The priest came near Radhika
"Areee .Radhika betiya ..ek aur Kulfi hai …Dev ke liye .." HE asked
(Radhika ..is there any left for Dev ?)

Radhika looked up at Dev who smiled lightly , he thought she looked like a little stubborn girl though somehow he did find her looking cute.

"Nahi muhje nahi lena ..main theek hoon .." he said politely to the priest
(No its ok ..I don't want any .)

"Acha hai! Tumhare liye koi baki nahi hai .." She said curtly
(good because theres none left for you!)

She got up and said good bye to the kids and walked away , she didn't want to even be near him his presence was very irritating .

Dev felt little bad seeing her walk away because he was there . He watched her and took a deep sigh . HE had no idea that she was like this .He always thought she was emotionless , without any heart or concern ..but he was wrong .. .HE started regretting everything he did and said to her . She might be rude and rough but didn't mean she didn't have feelings .

Few days passed and Dev joined the mutt , he looked at the accounts and all the temple and construction work. There wasn't anyone taking charge of the position of the account balances or the budget . Dev got busy with that and had talks with few lawyers and construction builders for a new ashram . But everyday he felt as if someone or something is missing .He brushed off that thought and concentrated on the work .Dadima was also very busy but glad that dev took over and gave out a helping hand .Whenever he would face RAdhika they just walked by without saying one word .

Radhika entered her house chewing her gum and counting her money grinning mischievously .She then saw Dev sitting in the family room talking to her father ..

"RAdhika ….jakar koi jaal paan lekar aa Dev babu ke liye ..pehli bar humare ghar aye.."
Radhika go and get some snacks for dev ..Its his first time coming to our house..)

Dev just smiled amused at Radhika cute grumpiness. She had her hand on her flanks looking at him daringly ! She brushed her finger under her nose and muttered "Tateriki!" Hell NO she wont get this guy even water !

Vishaka came out the room and giving he beautiful smile "Hey ..I'm Vishaka .."She said sitting down

"Hey ..I'm dev .." He said

. Arpita came out the kitchen serving Dev tea . He just glanced at Radhika who was not pleased to see him in her house . He found her expression cute and funny and chuckled inwardly . She tried to control her anger seeing him getting comfortable ..HE wasn't welcomed here! Radhika smiled mischievously and went to the kitchen

Radhika came out and sat on the chair fanning herself darting her eyes on Dev while he talked to Vishaka ..

Arpita came out with the tray of halwa and offered some to Dev .

"Yeh Halwa Vishaka ne banaya .."Arpita said but lied just wanted Dev to be impressed

Radhika smirked amused and chewed on her gum .She knew that was a big lie! But this will be an embarrassment to Vishaka and this was just great!

She was anxious to see his reaction ..Dev took the first bite and made a grimace .He looked at Radhika who 's eyes twinkled and her mischievous smile grew.

"Is main …Namak hai " (theres salt in this) He said looking at Vishaka

"namak?" ( Salt?)

"Sorry dev ..I …" She didnt know what to sy and look at her mother confusedly

"Don't worry about it ..Acha Tara Shankar ab main chaltha hoon .."(Ok Tara Shankar I'll be leaving now)

"Dev Babu app jinta maat kijiye kaam hojaye ga .."( Don't worry the order will come in soon)

Dev smiled and folded his hand and walked away ..Radhika was standing on her porch leaning on the wall swinging her knife lightly and looked at him from the corner of her eyes …

"Main jaantha hoon ..ke yeh sab tumne kiya ..acha mazaak tha .."( I know you did all this ..but it was a fun joke ) He said without looking at her and put on his sun glasses and walked away with amused smile .He actually did find this funny but also cute with her mischievous plans. Not many girls did this and that is what makes her different ...

Radhika jaws dropped hearing this and just watched him drive away ..She brushed her finger under her nose .He wasn't suppose to like this joke he had to get angry but instead he smiled and enjoyed what she did!

Is chori ne toh hamari nak hi kathadi!"(this girl is very humiliating us!) Arpita backed up "Is khante ke waja se Vishaka ke liye koi rishta nahi ayega!" (Because of her Vishaka will never get wedding proposals!)

Dev peeked through the door curiously

Radhika just pretended not to hear them but as soon as she heard Arpita insult her mother she got aware..

"Acha hota agar yeh chori ..uski MA ke saath Marjathi! " Arpita said smirking away
(It would have been better if this girl died with her mother!)

"CHUP MOTI! Kabadaar tumne meri Ma ki barein main kuch bhi kaha! Warna .."(SHUT UP! Don't you dare say one word about my mother !) RAdhika said pointing the knife toward Arpita

Dev frowned his brows..Radhika's mother passed away ? Arpita wasn't her real mother?

Loved ur last two updates, seems like dev is the 1th one to fall for this gem thats radh...he,he she reminded me of robin hood a lil..

I loved it billo! Just found this ff today. I was so happy to ser you writing another ff of radev and I immediately read all four parts and I really enjoyed reading it such an interesting story plot. I can't wait for your next update and please can you pm me when you update.
