In the episodes of 28, 29 June and 2 July the mirror thing was used very very well. Applause for CV's who thought about it.
1. Virat removes mirrors from Maanavi's room so that she' spared the horror of her hairloss
2. Maanavi shaves off the head and DEMANDS for a mirror, to come to terms with her reality
3. Jeevika looks herself in the mirror, stones her heart and sadly gives it to Maanavi
4. Jeevika is still scared to show the mirror and Maanavi is scared to look at the mirror.
5. Maanavi looks into the mirror and is disgusted at her look and throws the miorror away.
6. After Virat shaves off his head and the shock of the act is absorbed, VirMan are mirrorred in the table glass and by then Maanavi is neither scared nor disgusted, she's practically enjoying the view...
Well Done CV's You deserve a pat on the back for this one...👏👏
Edit - The VirMan mirror scene reminds me of a custom in Maharashtrian wedding. It is called "SOONMUKH" In old times it was supposed to be the first time ever the MIL would see her DIL. This part is no more existant but the custom still lives...
The groom's mother sits in centre and the bride and the grom sit in her lap, each on either side. And then she makes them look into a mirror and touches their heads to eachother. It is a sweet feeling you know, experienced it in my wedding.

Nice observation, I didn't realize till now how much they used the theme of mirror and reflections in the past few episodes...brilliantly done CV's

It's interesting how Maanvi looks into the mirror with Virat at the end...almost signifying that, with him, she is able to look at her reflection and not cringe or what to turn away, instead they both smile looking into it...

I love how Virat is the one who takes her mirror away first and then he's with her looking into it the next day, having done his sacrifice. At that point, he's not afraid to have her take a look at herself because she's not alone...he'll always be beside her...he'll always be that shadow even when she looks at her reflection

The use of Jeevika getting the mirror for her was significant, she's always been Maanvi shadow, her cloak from all evilness in then world, yet how was Jeevika going to hide the bitter truth a mirror would give Maanvi...Jeevika looking into it first was almost a testament to the fact that though Jeevika can protect Maanvi from anything, she can't protect Maanvi from herself and what she is about to see...

In essence...the scene between Virat and Jeevika when Virat was taking the mirror was almost a sign of acknowledgement from Jeevika, that yes, you can go ahead and become the shadow that I can't be anymore...and back in the room when Jeevika gives Maanvi the mirror rather than looking at it with her (like Virat did) is again, saying he'll be her guardian now...because at this point in life...Maanvi needed the love of her life to accept her, she always knew her sister would accept her no matter what...

Whoa, ive gotten too symbolic here😆
