Anandi came down with naina, looking a bit apprehensive.

As she walked down the stairs, she started to see the sofas and the people's backs.

She could hear random conversations erupting between different members of the family and finally when the entire room came into her view clearly, she noticed a new girl, sitting on the arm of the sofa besides Shiv, chitchatting with him

As soon as she walked into the room, she noticed the talks dispersing. Everyone started to look at her one by one.

She felt awkward once again.

'aao beta' called hansa immediately. she realized that Anandi had left in order to avoid the confrontation. She liked this gesture of hers. It showed that Anandi cared about others feelings and had the maturity to understand the nature of situations.

'aaj meeting kaisa raha' she asked looking at Shiv and Anandi

'Teekh tha ma' Said shiv

He remained unusually quite. Anandi kept quiet and let shiv do the talking.

'bhaiya, main inko kya bulao? Anandi jiji kahungi tho shayad shiv bhaiyyah ko problem ho jayegi na' whispered Ishika into Ikshu's ears

'Aye, thum dono kya katar-patar ker rahe ho!' asked Rithul

Ishika looked at Anandi trying to get her attention and when Anandi looked at her she said

'Hello Anandiji main Ishika hun, Shiv bhaiyyah ki choti behan' she smiled

'Hello' Said Anandi smiling broadly.

'Aapko tho shiv bhaiyyah nay maray baray main kafi kuch kaha hoga!' She said lifting her imaginary collars

Anandi looked at shiv and nodded in a negative and smiled

'KYA!' said Ishika angrily.

'Ek Lauthi behan hun, aur meray baray main kuch bhi nahi kaha, so rude of you bhaiyyah' she said to shiv angrily

'oye, thu kya Udaipur ki her highness hai ki voh teray baray main batayengay. Of course meray baray main tho kaha hi hoga, said Ikshu smugly

Anandi looked at him apologetically as if it was her mistake that she did not know who he was!

Ikshu looked flabbergasted!

Ishika let out a loud mocking laugh. 'So prince of Udaypur how do you feel now!' she said teasingly

'Well Anandiji main Ikshu hun, Rithul bhaiyyah ka chota bhai'

'hello' said Anandi

Shiv was looked at Anandi, seemingly embarrassed that his brother and sister were joking around with her, though he did notice that Anandi was quite enjoying herself. She was silent but her eyes spoke volumes, that she was finally beginning to feel comfortable.

'Are main tho bhul hi gaya! Ishika jaker mera laptop le ker ana please! said Shiv

Ishika , nodded and left to get his laptop

'ASHI nay kaha tha ki Skype per session karengay! oh ho main bhul gaya hotha tho, voh mera ser kha lethi' He said shaking his head

Anandi looked at shiv and he noticed that she wanted to say something.

Shiv looked at her and asked her what

Anandi then pointed towards her phone and indicated that she has to call.

She had called jetsar earlier and could not reach through. She wanted to speak with everyone but was only able to speak with Makhan kaka. All her family members had gone to nearby village to attend a function.

They were to come home later at night.

'Mujhe ghar call kerni hai' she said

'Han beta baat ker lo thum' said hansa smiling.

'Waise sabh bahar gaye hue the abh tak laut aayengay' said Anandi

Hansa could sense a slight sadness in her tone. she smiled

'Waise Shiv, Anandi kay ghar walon ko bhi skype per bula sakthay hain na, voh unsey baat ker sakthi hai' Suggested Rithul

Shiv looked at Anandi and his eyes lit at the idea suggested by Rithul.

'Han ye acha rahega, Voh Sabh bhi aapsey mil lengay' Said shiv a bit too excited

Rithul looked at Naina and pointed meaningfully towards shiv to her.

Rithul started to realize that Shiv wanted Anandi to understand his family and the only natural progression would be that her family meets them as well.

Anandi aapkay ghar per skype installed hai ki nahi? asked Shiv

Anandi replied in a negative. 'Main bapusa ko batadungi'

Shiv then called Ashi telling her that they will be signing on soon to talk with her. Ashi had asked for 15 min and in the mean time Anandi started dialing Jetsar

'Hello'

'Makhan kaka main Anandi, Dadisa aa gayi hain ghar?'She asked

'Hello Dadisa , kaise hain aap? she asked excited

'Anandi, kaise hai thu?aachi tarah sey pahunch gayi na?! asked Dadisa

'Ji dadisa' Said Anandi as her voice chocked up

Anandi had never stayed away from her family without company from at least one of them. Her heart felt heavy listening to them.

'Shiv tharay ko apnay hi ghar per le aya na'! asked Dadisa

'ji, main collector sahab kay ghar per hun' she replied.

Shiv who was listening to the conversation shook his head slightly.

Rithul looked at him and mouthed 'collector sahab' and laughed

Shiv looked back with an irritated expression at him.

Anandi had asked to talk to bhairav, basant, Taiji and then Nandu

then Dadisa grabbed the phone and asked for Shiv

Anandi brushing her tear off the corner of her eye, extended her phone towards shiv

'Dadisa' she said

'Oh !

'Hello dadiji' said Shiv excited

'aap aisa kiyun keh rahe hain , Anandiji humaray ghar ki mehmaan hai. Aap please chinta mat kariye.

Dadisa had thanked shiv for his hospitality and then shiv asked to talk to bhairav. Bhairav thanked Shiv again for his hospitality and after a min long conversation shiv continued,

'BHairav singh ji, aap please computer per skype install kariye'

ok Thank you tho phir kal baat hogi.

'bye'

Shiv handed the phone to Anandi

'Kal tak voh skype install ker lengay aur hum unsey kal baat karengay , video call per' he said smiling

Anandi smiled back at him but then her smile faltered as she looked at her phone.

'Koi baat nahi beta, aap thoday hi dinon main chali jaogi na! Ghar sey door rehna asaan nahi' Hansa said lovingly

Anandi then smiled back at her

'Shiv, thumnay Anandiji kay father ko naam se bulaya?' whispered Rithul

'main kya karun, Anandiji kudh 'collector sahab' kay title sey neechay nahi utharthi' said shiv irritated

'OK ye lo Ahi, online per aa gayi' said Shiv

'HI Desiboy!' came Ashi's voice

'How are you?' she said excited

'Good! thum kaise ho? oh wow full family is here.

Ashi talked to everyone. Specially with ikshu. They shared a nice bond between each other. The entire family loved her and they asked her about her parents, job and told her how they missed her.

Shiv then told Ashi that Anandi was here too

'SHIV!, pehlay kiyun nahi bataya' complained Ashi

Shiv then turned the laptop towards Anandi and gestured to talk to her

'HII Anandi!, How are you!' asked Ashi

'main teek hun ashima ji aap kaisi hain?' asked Anandi back with a huge smile on her face

'Hey thumhay Shiv ka ghar kaise laga? asked Ashima with her English-hindi accent

'Bohot acha, smiled Anandi

'Thum wahan per bore BILKUl bhi nahi hogi, specially inki masti kay wajay sey' said Ashima

'Anandi laughed out loud and said' han voh tho main dekh rahi hun'

'Anandi thumhara gift abhi bhi meray paas hai. Main apnay saray friends ko dikhaya voh ithnay kush hue issey dekh ker ki , they all want one for themselves too! said Ashima

'Han han kiyun nahi, main unke liye bhi bana dungi' said Anandi

'waise voh tohfa tho aapke liye main khaas banaya tha, yaad hai na, aapnay usmay Jetsar ki sabsi pyari yaad kaid kerni hai' said Aanandi smiling

'Of course yaad hai, aur pata hai, thumhari choice ko dekher mom bohot impressed hain, Ithni traditional jewelry choose ki hai thumnay ki wow! said Ashi

'are ismay maine kya kiya hai, aap ho hi ithni pyari ki aap per sabh kuch acha lagtha hai' continued Anandi

Shiv who was looked at them talking looked around everyone trying to notice their reactions. He saw that his mother was smiling at Anandi and it seemed to him that she had started to like her nature. His chachi also pretty much showed similar expressions

Ikshu and Ishika were talking to themselves aparantly busy talking about something related to college

Naina also was hearing Anandi and Ashi's conversation along with Rithul and throwing furtive glances at each other.

'Anandi thumhay pata hai , maine na aaj khana banaya kudh!' said Ashi

'KIYA BAAT KER RAHI HO ASHI' jumped Shiv upon hearing this

He ran towards the other sofa where Anandi was sitting and sat besides her and started talking to Ashi

'Han , you thought I was not capable of cooking!' complained Ashi

'But han Anandi , I cannot cook like you ever. Ithna try kiya maine , lekin jal gaya !' she said sadly

'Shiv started laughing out loud!

'Collector sahab , inhonay atleast try to kiya na! aap please inka Mazak math udayiye' said Anandi with a touch of mock anger in her voice

'OK ok nahi udatha' said shiv as he continued to laugh

'dekha Anandi, how he makes fun of me!' said Ashi putting up a crying face

'aap inhe chodiye Ashima ji, mujhe bohot kushi hui ki aapnay try tho ki . Aur waise bhi khana pakana tho bohot asaan hai, aapko ithnia pareshan honay ki zaroorat nahi hai' Said anandi

'dekha shiv! thumsey tho ye 100 times better hai' Said shiv

'Han han Kiyun nahi, abh tho ye thumhari best friend ho gayi hai na' said shiv pointed at Anandi

meanwhile, everyone , including Ishika, Ikshu who now were paying full attention, were staring at Shiv and Anandi

As without their knowledge, they were sitting very close to each other, their shoulders were brushing together and they seemed very comfortable too.

'Ok bye Anandi, bye shiv, bye everyone!' said Ashi, as she signed off

Shiv then looked at Anandi with a smile and his eyes stood in her face for 3 seconds longer.

Anandi who was looking at the laptop , she then looked up at the entire family and then suddenly something dawned on her.

Shiv then looked in front of him and then noticed the very same thing, which made him jump and he returned back to his seat with his laptop. He turned it on hastily and started to stare at its screen as if this was the first time he had ever layed eyes on it.

Anandi, looked completely embarrassed at the situation. She could not believe how she forgot that Shiv was sitting besides her in front his mother and the entire family!

She could not believe how she was so unaware of this situation and so much into the conversation with Ashi!

again very nice os .what to say a very good and interesting family .khaastor se sister ki woh line acchi lagi jub woh kehti hai ki mere baare mein nahi bataaya aur sub ansh ki aur dekhten hain aur anandi ke liye skype kholna bhi bahut accha laga .i hope cvs aise hi understanding full of masti family dikhaaye
