Should Children work in TV shows??

guyzz this is my first post here in debate mansion

i would like to raise an issue on child actors working in tv shows

i m against i totally!

i dont think children should work as they miss out on their studies,extra curricular activites,most importantly the time in which they can play with heir peer group,learn new things,enjoy life as a child

what do you guys think?

Inve nothing against child actors working on tv but the hrs they put in are probably grueling ...there shd be some sort of limit on the number of hrs ... I remember reading interviews of Harry potter actors and other such stuff .. Actors cd only work for 4 hrs at a stretch .. Rest was all body doubles .. And the kids were provided with tutors so that there studies aren't affected ... I don't think there is any such system in place here ... I read this Tellybuzz article long back in which they said the teenage lead of some show won't be giving her matric exams bcos she was so busy with shoots .. Such practices shd be avoided

Same home true for children in reality shows ... Somewhere parents are also to blame .. They put unnecessary pressure on their kids.. Horrendous!

the kids which juggle and maintain their routine are exceptions

many of the kids stray away coz of excessive fame at such an young age!

Their parents can teach them how to handle fame. But if they themselves as adults cannot handle it then why blame the kids young age

As a parent,i would probably not allow it..but most children enjoy working..they get paid well,and rise to early stardom as well..As long as they take care of their studies its fine...Anyways today's gen,actor or no actor donot enjoy childhood the way we did..!..So its not like they are loosing out on much...

And TV/Movies need child actors😆

I am indifferent and a little bit confused too. Children acting has it's own benefits and lacunae.

I think a child can enjoy their childhood on sets, etc, if he wants to. Anyways, I dont think kids these days with the kind of schools they're attending, get time to play like we used to when we were kids... those days when we'd find ALL the time in the world to play hide-n-seek, chaincut, house-house and what not ❤️ And those kids that do find time, waste their time on computers, "coaching centres", facebook etc :P ..this is going off-topic,

I'd say, a child should take acting in TV serials as an extra-cirriculum...and must attend school everyday, education is essential.. atleast in my eyes it is. A child as a person could learn and grow a looottt by attending school and by leading a "normal" life atleast untill he's 18.

They should stop casting children in main roles, for that.

If I think in another way, I feel a child's lack of education wont be a loss to the society(education is imp. for development as a society too, more no. of illiterates = low economic growth, and ofcourse it has humongous benefits for a person), it's highly beneficial for the child too ~ he'd be earning since young age, and will continue to work and grow in the film industry, it's like his career is decided! So, there wont be any problems.. However, a child must be taught commercial mathematics, environmental studies, social sciences and english too. Because those subjects are basic knowledge and important for every citizen.

But, life goes on.. a child's character, his own childhood and the way he grows depends a lot on himself as an individual he is and, his parents. Etiher way is good.

I'm not against kids working in TV and such but they should have a limit on hours like someone said earlier, and they should have tutors to help them and even if they rise to stardom at a young age i feel like the parents should teach the kids how to cope with it and anyways they're needed for movies and shows and kids are so cute :]
