well yaar...i feel mohan doesn't know how to strike a friendship with a son...maybe its bcz of his childhood...he always complains abt his father being not a normal father...he always crave for his love...n maybe his father behave with him the same way which is why he behaves the same way to addu...
it doesn't mean he doesn't love addu...he loves him alot...but he doesn't know how to deal with a son...rather than a daughter...
in real terms...we always term daughters are daddy's best friend...it showed beautifully b/w mohan-nanhi...how both of them share their feelings...motivates them...since mohan all his life lived with his mother...than loves comes by his way in the name of rashmi...he does know how to deal with a women...it was simple for him to bond with nanhi n make it so beautiful...look how father-daughter gel beautifully...they are inseparable...he lives for her...adores her...it shows that he loves daughters more than a son🤣
but then a father with a son...its a complete different story...both are mens...strong-headed...confident...they love challenges...they try to outsmart each other...n mohan when dealing with mens is very rough n with his childhood experience from his father...that sum everything up...why he n addu can't get along completely...
mohan-addu have to bond emotionally first...they need a man to man talk...heart to heart talk to connect...
addu is very principal like his mother...he is complete carbon copy of his mother...he cannot stand injustice...he doesn't like rudeness...he hates people calling him names...mohan has to understand his nature to bond with him...
fatherhood is new to mohan...he needs to understand more in terms for a son...as a father for a daughter...he is excellent...but he is weak on son's part...he needs to understand addu before bonding with him...
it doesn't mean he dislike addu...he loves him...the problem is due to his childhood experience...he doesn't know how to deal with addu...
