Parvati's tears

The original story is connected with Parvati wanting to the secret of being immortal. Shivji before telling her the story makes it sure no one elase hears it. But 2 Pigeons were hiding in the cave too hears the story. when Parvati sleeps, they nod instead og Parvati. When Shivji finds out they tell them since they've heard the secrete of being immortal, they can not die.

Those pigeons are still seen even today in Amaranath cave, where Swayambhu Shivling is formed.

Sometimes the maker's creativity does give us pleasant surprise.😊

The small Shivling looked just amazing. The Shivling in the cave is made by drops of water falling from top, which makes a big Shivling. Two smaller linags are formed too, which are worshipped as Parvati & Ganesh.
