Maan and Geet were working in an assignment .Maan would often steel glances of her when Geet would be looking at the laptop screen but unknown to him Geet would be looking at him from the corner of her eyes.

Maan was looking at Geet when he saw a strand of hair disturbing Geet. She was trying to push it away but it keeps coming in front of her eyes so Maan invorintarily moved his hand to remove the strand from her face. The moment his hand came in contact with her face they both felt current passing through their bodies. Maan immediately moved his hand away from her face and both looked away from each other.

To avoid the awkward silence between them Maan said.

Maan "I think we should finish rest of it tomorrow."

Geet who was still lost in the feeling of his touch said " hmmm ok. "

Maan "ummm ok then I'll see you tomorrow."

Geet "yah ok!"

Maan turned to look at her for one last time and then left from there.

Geet was still lost in his touch when Pinky snapped her fingers in front of her she was brought to reality.

Pinky "Seems like someone is in love. "

Geet "I am not, We were doing our assignment. You know that."

Pinky "I didn't ask you what you guys were doing?"

Geet give an exasperated sigh and then quickly asked her "Hey you were with Adi, How is it going with him?"

Hearing Adi's name Pinky blushed furiously.

Geet "ooo now look who is in love."

Pinky smacked her arm and went to her room.

Maan would try to distract himself by doing work out but it didn't work. His thoughts would always be clouded with Geet.

Maan and Geet did really well in there assignment. Maan was now comfortable around Geet but he was not sure about his feelings for her and to avoid thinking about her he would read Quran. At night he would offer extra prayers in order to keep Geet away from his thoughts but it wouldn't work.

He seemed to be getting more attracted to her. He would often steel glances of her during lectures. No matter how hard he would try to distract his mind his mind would always be thinking about Geet.

Amma bi "I think we should start searching for a girl now." She said to her son Azaan.

Azaan "but Amma bi he still have to take over business. Don't you think it's early?"

Amma bi shouted "early? , are you waiting for Maan to repeat the same mistake which Zahid did? "

Azaan immediately bowed his head and said "No Amma bi! We will do that right away."

Amma bi calmed a bit and said "Send Ujala with my tea. I will speak to her."

Azaan "Alright Amma bi."

No matter how strong and fearless she looked from outside but from inside she was really scared that if Maan would Marry a Christian Girl.

Geet would also think about Maan all the time but the difference was that she would never distract her mind from his thoughts. She had started to like him, maybe started loving him deep down in her heart.

Geet would love to spend time with him.Geet was sitting in the stairs with Pinky when Parsa came and said "Geet I am watching you getting close with Maan, I am just here to tell you that stay away from him. He won't love you because you are hindu and he will only merry a Muslim girl."

Geet "It's not what you think. We were just discussing about assignment and nothing else."

Parsa "I know what's going on in your mind. Just don't think that way or else."

She threatened and went away.

Geet looked at her retreating figure. Pinky tapped her shoulder and Said "Don't worry about her Geet, She can't do anything."

Geet "I know."

Parsa's words hit Geet really hard "He won't love you because you are Hindu."

Geet went home but her mind was still stuck in Parsa's words. Geet didn't know what to do? She was really scared of him rejecting her? She decided to tell him about her religion the next day.
