Hey guys! I am a new writer and I got this amazing idea when I was just in deep thought. Please do read this little part that I posted and comment and like it if I should continue. :) Thank you.
Ps: This is a dark concept, and at times it is difficult to handle. How ever do not stop just here because I can assure you it gets better along the chapters. I don't go in to full description on certain scenes just for the comfort of the readers. Please do read it and give me your feed backs. This is a love story full of different aspects of reality, but with a dream. A love story of acceptance, and a light at the end of a tunnel.
Thank you,
Dal :)
Innocence In Her Eyes
Chapter 1
Without darkness there cannot be light. Those words are the source to my strength to my everyday life. My mother was the first to speak those words to me; it was her last. Each drop of water that fell from the sky reminded me of her. I watched through the broken window pane as the water rushed down from the sky. A smile always lit her darkened face as she held me in her lap, watching the drops of water trickle down. My eyes travelled along with the water that slightly sprayed me from the wind. Maybe she was dancing up in the clouds sending down the rain, to comfort my agonizing pain. A shadowy smile spread across my face. This was peaceful, but it will come to an end, the way it's supposed to be. My eyes slowly closed as the wind howled, fluttering the ends of my hair. My heart hoped tonight I won't be called, alas, right on cue she called me. "KHUSHI YOU HAVE A CUSTOMER." Tears trickled down my eyes and I clenched my fist. It was time, I knew it, and my demons within me knew it. "KHUSHI GET DOWN HERE SOON. YOU'RE WASTING PRECIOUS TIME." My hands shook as I wiped away my tears and placed my mask over my face; a mask, which I wore every day for survival. "I AM COMING JAMMA." I ran down the stairs to the living room. The anklets that I wore on my ankles stopped chinkling as I slowed down to see my customer. "There you are. How long does it take for someone to come down faster! Take him with you to room 09,'' Jamma said and she gave me the keys. I nodded slowly and signaled him to follow me. I went upstairs to room 09 with him behind me, we went inside and I locked the door. Just as I turned around the vile man grabbed me and pulled me closer. "Well, let's get down to business shall we pretty flower?" he said as his cigarette stench travelled to my nose. Once again I nodded slowly and his lustful hands began to do the rest.
After a while the pain starts to become a part of you. It begins to numb you out and you join hands with the demon itself. Slowly I turned my aching naked body to see the man sleeping next to me. He seemed to have a peaceful smile on his face, of course, sucking on someone else's soul always seemed to satisfy many of the men that visited this place. "Without darkness there cannot be light." I got up, wrapped the sheet around my body and walked to the window next to the bed. "Mama, you always told me that without darkness there cannot be light, but mamma I still don't see a light. Where is it mamma? The demons have already got me mamma, I don't think another light can save me." I knew my pleading whispers were travelling up to the sky, but indeed I got no answer. The snores from the man began to get louder and I shook my head. I raised my fair palms and I studied them. These hands are innocent in my eyes, but those demons have tainted each speck of my skin with blood. I looked outside again in to the gloomy night sky. "There's only darkness mamma. The light has long gone,'' I whispered my last words and settled down on the bed. Sleep was finally taking over my bruised body.
