Can someone explain today's episode to me? When Maa Parvati was walking through the fire remembering her past life and Rishi Dadichi's words about the five elements of the human body... how did she overcome those elements so quickly? Also, could someone explain what was happening in that scene just generally?

Thanks!

she is adi shakti, all she need is to will herself to know, and she will know it instantly, because she is the knowledge itself.

to know the details try reading these threads

Hi! Thanks so much for replying to my post. Could you please briefly clear these doubts of mine: Parvati is able to overcome the five elements of the human body because she has the will and desire to do it... but how/why does she remember her past life?

Sorry! One more question. Parvati overcame the 7 chakras but now she still has to become yogya for Shiv. Why is that? Does she have to overcome the five elements of her human body by mediation?

Thanks

Hello! Well - from the Shiv Puran it tells that the devtas all wish so much for Shiv's vivaah that they are sending Kaamdev to pierce him with his arrow of desire. But Shivji opens his third eye and ashes Kaamdev and everything is right back where it was before (except worse for poor Kaamdev who now has no body!)

Parvati experiences desperation but Naradji tells her she must take the only path now open to her - tapasya. In the puran, it is Narad who give her the five syllable mantra (which i think in the telly version they have had Dadhichi give)

She embarks on a tapasya such as no one has ever seen before - it shakes the world to its core. After all, she IS Adi Shakti! By the end of it waves of power are flowing out from her and they are being felt all over the three worlds.

Finally Vishnuji and Brahmaji and all the devtas beg Shiv to come out of his samadhi and put an end to her suffering. Finally he agrees but first tests her harshly as you will see no doubt!

So while the telly CV's seem a bit stuck on the idea of her being yogya (like they have done with Sati), it was (in the puran) actually Shiv who was resistant - not wanting to be broken-hearted once again - and so she does tapasya to win him to awakening. She was born yogya - he just needs to be convinced to awaken and accept her.

Thank you so much! Today my doubts have been cleared more than ever before... thanks to you and some other members.

I appreciate this so much😊

Also wanted to act, none of them, from vishnu, to shiv, to laxmi to parvati actually need to do any penace. Its purely for lokkalyan and to teach the importance of devotion and penace that they do such tapasya.

Maa Adi Shakti is a source of energy for the Tridev so nothing is impossible for her...
