This just happened to me...literally...and it was so crazy given what we just got treated to today that I just had to share it on the forum.
So its a beautiful, sunshiny, late Friday afternoon (the weekend is here- yes!!!! Party time! 😉)...and I'm out and about running errands. Early this morning my boss (who is also Indian, incidentally) had sent a message to us telling us that he would not be in the office today because he and his wife were on their way to the hospital. They were expecting a little baby boy and she was due next week (guess he decided to put in an appearance today instead 😉)So while Archu is around the town doing her thing 😎 she gets a text on her phone. It was my boss stating that they had a healthy baby boy at 2:22pm this afternoon and both momma and bachha were doing fine! So I of course jumped up and down, texted back my congratulations and wishes, etc. and then I asked him if they had settled on a name..He sent me a one word text back: ARJUN. So Archu said: !!!!?????!!!! I was so busy doing a double take that I promptly caused a near car accident. Luckily I somehow managed to slam on the brakes in the nick of time as the light turned red, all the while hoping and praying to God that the guy behind me had the wits to keep a "safe driving distance" from me. My prayer was answered and my rear bumper is intact. This was sooo uncanny...given we just got ARVI reunion today too...I had just had to post this!!!Well, this being Friday night, and given the euphoric feeling of the day all around...I am going to get dressed up, go out, have a cosmo (or several) and raise a glass to the new little one: may he also grow up to find and claim his Purvi one day!!!
I believe Arjun name is becoming popular, one of my friends had a baby boy in May, and they also named him Arjun. I was delighted but surprised because they both are born and raised here and do not watch Pavitra Rishta!!! It is funny that I gave baby a same blessing as Archana that one day he will find his Purvi. 😉 The parents were surprised, so I gave them brief overview of ArVi, and ask them to watch Pavitra Rishta to see ArVi. I thought it was irrelevant to post but when I saw Archana's post, I had to share it. Thanks Archana for sharing it. 😊
