CHAPTER 20

Shyam picked up his revolver. He was aiming it at Khushi.

"Khushiji, if you wont be mine, then you cant belong to him even."

And they heard a gunshot.

There was a scream. Khushi looked at Arnav Khushal and Arjun. The three of them were fine. Then who had screamed. 4 of them looked at Shyam. Blood was oozing out rom his body. The police had come. They had fired while Shyam pointed the gun at Khushi.

Khushi clutched on to Arnav.

"Khushi everything is fine calm down."

"Mr. Raizada everything ok?"

"Yeah Mr.Jaiswal, thanks"

"Mr.Raizada this is our duty. It was who you helped us by informing his whereabouts"

"Anything for my Khushi" He hugged her tight. Khushal smiled at his young sister holding on to her husband.

"Arnav, I had actually gone to get"

Arnav kept a finger on her lips"

"You went to get this right?" Arnav took out the ring.

She was surpised but nodded in yes.

He gave the ring to her and himself took out the ring which he had brought or her. They exchanged the rings.

"Agar aap dono ki romance khatam ho gayi ho to lets go home?" Khushal asked. Arjun was standing beside him watching the love birds.

"Yeah sorry. Lets go."

"BTW Khushi so you are going to settle down in RM isn't it?"

"Of course bhai"

"Ok Arnav then we 3 will be shifting tomorrow."

"What bhai?"

"Yeah Khushi. last time when I told you that all these were a plan to bring you closer we didn't tell you that our house is completely ready to be occupied. We wanted you to come to RM thats why we played that trick."

Hey reached RM. All were relieved to see the 4 of them safe and sound.

"Chotte Khushiji are you all right.?"

"Yeah Di, we are ine"

"Anji, you don't care about your husband right?"

" No Arjun its not that, you know.. now tell me how did you disappear?"

They settled down and Khushi began narrating what had happened.

"Di when Arnav proposed me I went upstairs to get this ring." She said pointing at Arnav's ring finger. Arnav held his hand up in order to show everyone the ring. All others smiled.

"Then I heard a knock on the door and I thought it must be one of you, but I was shocked to see him there. I remember asking him what he was doing there and he sprayed something on my face that I became unconscious. When I regained consciousness I was in that building. I felt that Arnav would find me soon so I kept in conversation with him arguing that you all will find me before he can be of any harm. Then as I expected they came to the rescue. Then Bhai and Arjun ji had a fight with him while we looked on. Then he pointed the gun at me and was about to shoot."

""Khushiji you are ok na, did he shoot???"

"Di calm down. We are all fine. First of all hear the complete thing. Let Khushi say"

"Then the police entered and they shot him. He is dead di"

"What??? Shyam is dead ???" the whole family asked.

"Yeah he is dead."

"At last. People like him should not live on this earth." Naani said.

"OK. HAPPY NEWS IS THAT KHUSHI HAS AGREED TO STAY HERE AS MY WIFE ALL HER LIFE. FROM TODAY WE WILL BE TOGETHER"

"nahi chotte this is not possible" naani said.

"Why sasuma? Even you wanted Phatti saadi to be back then what happened?" Maamiji was also shocked.

Arnav was shocked while Khushi's eyes welled up.

"Khushi bitiya is not your wife"

"What?"

"Forgot the contract? You both should get married again."

Both were relieved to hear that.

"Naani why don't we get them married..."

Arnav and Khushi were eagerly looking at Anjali to hear when they were to get married again.

"That will be perfect Anjali bitiya"

"What will be perect. Did something happen to my ears. Is it me the only one who hasn't heard the date???"

"Have patience Chotte. We are getting you married on NK's wedding"

"What Nanheji is getting married? Will he be here?"

"Khushi NK's marriage is not important. Think about ours."

"But Arnav.."

"Come on Khushi NK is getting married to Lavanya. The main point is it is two weeks away."

Khushi seemed to be ok with that.

"Khushi it is two weeks, don't you have any problem?"

"Arnav, why should I have a problem? It is just two weeks. We were away from each other for almost two years so two weeks is nothing right?"

"Khushiji is right Chotte!!!"

"Di when will you stop calling me Khushiji, call me Khushi"

"Ok Khushi"

"NK bhai and Lavanya are reaching tomorrow afternoon along with their family"

"Khushal bitwa, can Lavanya and her family stay at your place till tthe marriage? We where planning to send them to our farm house, but if two marriages are taking place together then.."

"Ok naani that is so nice of you naaniji, I can be with Lavanya also." Khushi said.

Khushi was excited means Arnav was the happiest man on earth.

"So after they arrive tomorrow we will be shifting" Khushal said.

"And I want Arnav, Arjun , Anjali and NK to help us there. Till then Lavanya's parents can be here so that we can settle down. They can come there when we have arranged everything."

"Why not Akash?" Arnav asked.

"Try to understand Arnav jiji may need him to be with her." Khushi said , Payal blushed while Akash smirked.

"How dare you?" Arnav asked.

"Calm down chotte.!!! Let him be. Now I think we should sleep. Payalji must be really tired."

They all went to sleep by around 2:30 am.

The next morning everyone gathered for the morning prayers. Anjali and Arjun did the aarti first and then Khushi and Arnav and then the others. Then they went to have breakfast. Khushi had prepared breakfast today. Her favourite jalebis were also there. Obviously sugar free ones were also there meant only for her Arnav.

"When are they reaching?" Khushi asked

"within two hours Khushi. I think I and Arjun should go and receive them. You will be a surprise. Later we can shift to you house." Arnav said.

After almost an hour Arnav and Arjun left for the airport to receive them.
