Hiten - Ankita : Shining Moments

Ankita: ⭐️

In yesterday's episode: was OUTSTANDING as a mother who thinks she stood against the world for her daughter only to be betrayed by her. Every time she yelled a line, it was so perfect. The agony, anguish, shuttling between disappointment to being worried about the future. And the part where she beat herself - imo that scene couldve gone horribly wrong (acting wise) had it not been done right. But Ankita was fabulous - the one other scene for ArVi fans that only watched the show after the leap is when Archu has a miscarriage. Both Sushant and Ankita were outstanding. Esp Ankita.

Hiten: ⭐️

What can I say about this guy? I LOVED Sushant and it would have been FABULOUS to see him be Manav. But I loved Hiten from his OLD days. And emotional scenes are somewhat his forte. But its been a while since I saw him do such a powerful scene. Being a dad is very very tricky. Being the right dad is even trickier. And watching your kid's life being shattered is something even beyond sad. And I know Manav went overboard, but Hiten was OUTSTANDING. The pain of having your daughter lose someone they love, because the guy loved someone else and kept it a secret until so close to the wedding - was showing. And when he knew the one person that he trusted the most let him down - he (like Archana) never gave Archu the chance to explain WHEN she came to know about this. Tbh I don't think Manav would have been this angry had Purvi OR Arjun came and told him first. He even told Punni, Purvi wouldve told me. But from his point, he had to get it out of Arjun (he didn't know Arjun wanted to tell him that). Fabulous acting. Not many people of his calibre out there. I think he was the best possible replacement Ekta couldve gotten.

Characters aside, I just wanted to say that the last 2 episodes proved the talents of these people. May we see more of these (albeit a little more positively) and hope to see Asha and Ritwik have some powerful scenes as well.

PS: Really loved Asha in yesterday's episode as well. Her pain at seeing Archu so sad was so evident. And esp when she said the lines "I just want to tell you to please not hurt yourself, I can never bear that" - so well acted. 👏

Even Asha and RD have done well and today the girl who plays Ovi did very well..

Of course I am not mentioning the shining Stars of PR ...Savita and Sulochna...

Sushant , my most fav actor , played his role to such perfection before ...hopefully he will impress with his talent in Bollywood now ...

Oh Sushant was the package!! Remember the scene everyone from the Karanjkar family came to see Archana after she miscarried - and Manav didn't let them enter his house? Because they all turned him down when he'd gone asking for money (for Archu's operation) from everybody but nobody helped him and because of that Archana had miscarriage?

He was so spot on as the pained man who felt responsible for the fiasco. His sadness at not being able to save his child. I still remember being in awe. ⭐️

chein se jeene nahi dunga sataaunga
sari umar ungli pe nachaaunga
jeewan ka naya roop dikhaaunga
har pal ek tufaan utthaaunga .

Sorry for going off on a tangent, I miss the days of Kutumb. Hiten is truly one amazing actor. I hate that Ekta always uses him as a replacement and so he doesn't always get the credit he deserves, but he always acts great. He's terrific as Manav and his subtle acting is so great to watch I completely forget he's acting. And you guys are right, Ekta wastes the actors and doesn't always use them to their full potential.
