Shobaji..a bit annoying?

But the actress playing Shobaji acts very well especially in crying scenes.

I actually think that Shobha's character is one of the strongest, wisest. She is easily my favourite character..and I dont think her whole conversation with Arti was 'I told you so', she gave her very good advice about the way forward. I think Arti is very lucky to have her as a Mother/ MIL?

^ Oh my gosh guys! give her a break! That's her opinion and sorry to disappoint but not everyone on this forum has similar opinions. YES I think she is getting a bit annoying, I understand her character is one of the most level-headed and a voice of reason but I have problem with the screen time. I also think that she delivers every dialogue in every crying scene the same way. The first 3 or 4 times she did that was fine but seriosuly you need to work on voice modulation, style of delivery, etc etc and shobha hasnt done that so it feels like we have seen her say the same thing before. Maybe she is not saying the same things but it's said in the same way. For example, Aarti cries, gets depressed at different occasions and you see a different kind of sadness (expressions) in KS every single time. I like the character but I kind of am not liking the lines Shobha says and the way she is delivering them currently. Plus I would rather see Gayatri right now because I want to see development from her side too. Punar vivah should focus on the new family, Cant Gayatri give hr son at least one good genuine advice and him actually listen to it. Why cant she go to Aarti and say something? you know characters getting new roles means progression for the show, just saying. more than welcome, to agree to disagree. :)

Well to be totally honest, I love the character of Shobha but some mannerisms of the actress don't work so well for me, like the incessant lip-quivering when she cries. And I have had a natural distance from her character ever since she encouraged Aarti to lie to Yash about the divorce but for that I actually commend the CVs because I am sure that was intentional. I also found her repetitive in the episodes before the marriage but not since then.

As for yesterday, I think she was very much needed as a voice of reason and a guide for Yash and Aarti. They are really confused and lost and they needed someone to steer them in the right direction. Now that they have got her guidance, they will pick up the pieces on their own. So in short, yes, some mannerisms of Shobha do annoy me, but I believe that her presence and screen time were essential to the story in terms of yesterday's episode.

Shobha ji is really a good character she's fantastic.
