sorry folks this is not a fan or appreciation post.

and i apologise for writing this to all fans first off.

but the reason i chose to pen down my thoughts here is that , this is the only platform where i can share my views about the show.

i am posting after a long time , and can say from being a fan who waited eagerly for the show , to indifferent viewer to now somewhat repulsed person, i have come full circle.

i used to be a sandhya fan, but the way her character is developing is too unreal.

if i were in sandhya's shoes , it wudnt be so easy for me to forgive bhabho and treat her so affectionately ever.

yes bhabho is now mellowed, but after what?

it dsnt mitigate the fact that bhabho chose to be so rude with sandhya even withotu findign out the facts.

wasnt it bhabho's duty to not assume and fnd out the truth and investigate the matter of police complaint?

any normal person wud have done that.

sandhya behaves like all is well. can a normal girl be like that? i doubt.

everything about miss goody two shoe is sachharine sweet. and sachhrine is unreal!

even her now romance with suraj also reeks of artificiality. teh way she smiles simply puts me off.

to me chaturi, bhabho, spineless bhabhasa , vikram, meena, mohit, chhavi , priti all seem real except sandhya.

sandhya has seldom has had guts to stand up for herself. she has taken abuses and inult evn false blames without even reacting and worse apologising. the bhabho sandhya chemistry is nothing new and is intensifying the ages old agade of saas bahu equations.

just my take and thanks for listening to my rants and venting.

Sandhya realises what Suraj has done for him and how he indirectly helped her in various issues.

It's only natural that she will support him when he needs it the most.

Sandhya looks too good when she laughs. In fact, we people are longing to see her smile and laugh in the show and after a long time this is happening.

Its Bhabasa and bhabo who seem unreal to me.

In a traditional family, its men who rule the show, not women.

really? in 90% indian families it is the woman of the family who has the helm of the affairs of household and men look afteroutside bussiness.

i dont know to which reagion u belong but thats definitely not true for major part of india.

sandhya is not a positive role model for the younger generation ... stuck in joitn family , working her self off for pleasing others,

also i dont think being husband's mother gives a woman diplomatic immunity that she can get away with muder. everypne is accountable for their actions ... even elders! i dont and wont agree to her being mushy mushy with bhabho.

forgetting that lady was inhuman enough to throw her out on streets knowing the fact sandhya was an orphan. if i were in sandhya s place i woudl have never forgiven bhabho for the expeltives she had used for my parents ... never untill the day i died, husbands mother or not, she did not have rights to insult my folks without even investigating the mater.

sandhya is unreal for any other girl in her situation woudl show some negatie emotions , sadness, anger resentment at least smewhere ... yahan to aisa maajra dikhtia hai ki madam ko jannat naseeb ho gayi hai ... whatever hapvpenned to her dream of ips ... sh eis only fitting intot he tradiotnal ghumghat clad bahu mould.

i did not watch dabh to see this bahu. they are a dime a dozen everywhere servign their inlaws. nothign great about it!

and as a personal take i wasnt commenting on teh aesthetic value of sandhya's smile, which is a subjective matter. iw as saying ti looks forced. jabarjasti ka hans rahi hai, out of proportion to the situation more teeth . maybe she is new and dsnt knwo how to modulate her smile , or over concious of the fact that people find her smiel nice.

last but not the least ... dont care if rest of india finds her smile nice, i just dont.

i feel the only positive role model right now is anandi of balika vadhu becuase they show her showng human emotions. basically boils down to CV.

whatever happenned to kavita chaudhri of udaan ...oh yes she did not have a saasu maa to serve and make her miserable so suc serials are not hit in india now. no demand. we love to see a submissive dil like sandhya. speaks volums about us. the only thign out of place in this retrogressive drama is backdrop of IPS. sandhya herself dsnt want it. what an idiot.
