Raizada mansion was in uproar. Khushi and nk are missing. Anjali has no idea where shyam is either. Nobody has any idea where the trio disappeared during the night after everyone went to bed. All their phones seem to be switched off or unreachable.
Mamiji had phoned phatti sari's maternity home and knowing of khushi's disappearance her amma and buaji too have rushed to RM, though babuji knows nothing yet.
Anjali was in hysterics. Payal in tears, was trying to calm her, nani and amma while her mind dwelt endlessly over the fact that of late she had seen shyam 's eyes grow more greedy when he looked at her baby sister ever since arnavji had left. Buaji seemed unable to stop repeating her favourite phrase. Akash , phone in hand, trying to reach all of them futilely again and again.

Arnav seated his di and his family and recounted the entire story from the night when he had found shyam and khushi hugging on the terrace, the mu, how he had threatened khushi to marry him threatening her(he could not tell akash that he had threatened her with payal nor did he mention that the marriage was supposed to be a contract marriage for 6 months) believing her to be at fault, shyam's lies, to save di and her baby from them, their strained relationship...upto how shyam wanted to kill him for his property---khushi nk and mami's plan, how she had rescued him and saved him from being shot that she was innocent and she now lay unconscious at the hospital...nk helped with the explanation at this point trying not to look disgusted with arnav how he had emotionally tortured khushi, and finally comprehending why khushiji was terrified of shyam nearing her, of his 'touch' as she had burst forth once...and wondering at how khushiji still managed to love arnav at this point even after what he did to her.
Everyone gaped as shyam's mask was torn to pieces not believing their ears.
A lot of things were certainly falling into place, the sudden marriage, the strained relationship of khushi arnav, the long mysterious absences of shyam from home, khushi's family was of course not unfamiliar with shyam's resume but kidnapping arnav? and their favourite damad had treated their daughter like this, they themselves had misunderstood her because of the marriage and here she had suffered all in silence.
As for anjali, she sat like a stone, so he had deceived her? She had worshipped him! His and her life, their baby , nothing meant to him;... PROPERTY?????? Kidnap her brother, lust after her sister in law? Her brother had had to lay down his own marriage, life and peace of mind at the altar of her happiness? Her fake happiness? Hollow from within?
