I'm going to sound like an oldie here (okay I'm not that old) hahah but I've been watching serials my entire life so some of these might be foreign to you guys and thumbs up if anyone has watched these!

1) Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin - probably one the most revolutionary shows on indian television - end of saas-bahu sagas
2) Ek Hazaroon Mein Meri Behna - I've never been as excited for a show since JJKN
3) Koi Dil Mein Hai - wonderful show that ended quiet tragically, but had 4 leads in it, reminds me a bit like EHMMBH
4) Tere Liye - I watched the entire show a year after it was done, from beginning to end, I never felt it drag or show nonsense...really a great show!
5) Kasam Se - a drama that was a breathe of fresh air after so long, i loved the story of three sisters, especially Bani and Mr. Walia😆
6)Kkusum - who could forget this drama, if you were like me and watched the saga unfold, then you know what the epitome of indian serials are lol from kkusum to kaali and kumud to garv...oh man!
7) Vaidehi - one of my favs!! Beautifully woven story about a women tricked into marrying a sterile man and how she finds her way out of the evilness of this household
7) Piya Ka Ghar - old one but one of my favs, I used to watch this all the time, and I remember a particular episode where the female protagonist stood up against everyone who was trying to ruin her life, a scene I will always remember!
8) Akela - rather short lived but such an amazing drama about an ex cop that comes out of a coma with the ability to talk to dead people - never had I seen such a concept on indian telly and i probably won't see it again but it had everything - drama, suspense, love story..sigh


Honorable Mentions (those that did not make it into my Top 8 but were just as good!)
- Tum Bin Jaao Kaha - if anyone has seen this drama, please tell me lol cause very little people have but probably one of the most spooky love stories I have watched about a woman who dies due to an accident caused by her boyfriend and how she get reincarnated into a creepy little girl

- Reth - sad and tragic drama about a young journalist who is the target of a gang rape and how she faces her family, husband and community...very well done

-Kayamath - i liked how the CV's made the most unlikely male character turn out to be the male lead protagonist in the show...one of my fav couples too!

You probably don't want to get me started on my kdramas😳
