Ok, about this telepathy thing. I thought it was damn cute but I see a range of opinions here in roughly these groups:
1) How lame
2) What's wrong with it, this is jusst fiction, just a soap they're allowed to take liberties, and
3) Bullshit they weren't telepathing at all just speaking out loud.
My position is this:
How come no one believes in telepathy?!! 😲 It happens all the time. My sister and I are hugely telepathic between us, many wild creatures are: dogs and cats are, horses are known to be very telepathic... many twins are proved to be telepathic.
It's pretty common between people with soul connections. What's the big deal with that?
Yes, science hasn't proved it satisfactorily but frankly that is science's problem. Doesn't mean it doesn't exist, in some form or the other. I would have built up a case for it, but sorry, don't have the time right now.
I saw so many posts but not one that said this, so just saying 😛

PS Reminded of Mary Stewart's excellent book Touch not the Cat. Anyone read it? The lead couple have this lovely telepathic connection. She talks to him but doesn't know who he is! It's fascinating.
