OS- Let It Snow

Uh its summer and it's super hot so I felt like writing something about snow.😆

They were on their honeymoon in Nainital, a place that had bonded them and etched many memories in their hearts. Arnav was happy to finally be away from home, alone with his lovely wife.

Khushi had already disappeared before him, squealing into the cottage while he lugged their baggage forward, smiling at the craziness of her. He went in to their room and set their luggage in a corner and walked out through the door to pull Khushi back in so that she does not catch a cold.

He just stood at the threshold of the cottage amazed at his wife who was standing there with her arms stretched out, wearing a thin light yellow dress which would never keep her warm. Tiny snow flakes melted on her happy face while she stood there feeling the calm, peace and taking in the happiness it was bringing her. She twirled around, giggling to herself, absolutely oblivious to a staring Arnav.

'Khushi' he called out. She opened her eyes and stared back at him with the brightest smile ever, beckoning him with her eyes to come forward and be with her. 'Come back in, do you wanna catch cold and stay in bed for the rest of our honeymoon.'

'Oh common Arnav stop being a jerk, are you blind ,look around you Laad Governor, it's all just so beautiful' she sighed at the beauty of the of the endless blue sky meeting the snow caped mountains clothed in utter magic and purity.

When he stood there without making a move and stared at her like she had lost her marbles, she stepped forward dug up snow and threw it right at his forehead, totally drenching him. 'Khushi' he yelled, the anger evident and blazing in his eyes, he strode towards her and then started chasing as she ran around the snow covered yard trying to stay away from the angry Rakshas.

She stumbled as a dozen snow balls kept hitting the back of her head, drenching her hair and she turned around to see a smirking Arnav with a pile of snow balls at his side. 'Ah this is war' she screeched back and threw and kicked piles of snow at a laughing Arnav who was endlessly trying to dodge his wife's accurate shots.

She looked up after digging up another pile to find him missing' Hmmphhh! The Laad Governor must have run to hide under his blanky' she told herself complacently. She turned around to look at the mountains when a bucket of ice cold water hit her face and she stood there staring at Arnav rolling on the ground trying to stifle his laughter. She launched herself at him pulling at his hair and punching him with her little hands, he pulled her closer, trapped her hands behind her back and pinned her to the ground effortlessly.

Arnav pinned her down wanting to smother her face with snow. Khushi was lying beneath him her face flushed and angry, with her hair fanning out over the snowy surface. Her pink parted lips inviting him to kiss them senseless a sight that stole his breath away. He told himself that revenge could wait.

Khushi wanted to yell out and kick him for trapping her like this, he was laughing like he had conquered the world and then she noticed how suddenly it all changed, he stopped laughing and his eyes were filled with that warm desire that she had become so familiar with. He was staring down at her like she was his most priced possession, his honey brow eyes boring into hers and then moving downwards, gazing at her lips. He lowered his head and softly brushed his lips across hers sending a shiver down her spine, making her taste heaven. She closed her eyes and moaned, drowning further into his warm kiss as he coaxed her mouth open and plundered her sweetness. She freed her hand and clutched his shoulders while he pulled her closer to himself and lost himself in her as tiny snow flakes slowly melded into their kiss and added magic. He kissed the corner of her mouth and then smiled at her, he pulled up a breathless and shivering Khushi. 'Let's go inside' he whispered, picking her up, hugging her close and walking towards the cottage, making her feel warm as it snowed away outside.
