Arnav & Khushi: We Accept
Arnav has learnt a valuable lesson - to listen to his heart. And he found that his heart does not lie - An essential lesson that would come in handy in the coming days.
Arnav acknowledged that Khushi has changed him. He accepted she's taught him to believe.
He accepted that he tried hard to hate her, but his heart would not listen. So did she – that she tried hard not to love him – but her heart would not listen.
I s'pose the most beautiful part was Arnav accepting: I don't need anything else, Khushi.
They accepted that distance does not matter between them and nothing can impact their relationship because they hear each other and know each other.
Acceptance is evident. This was a vital step. Though, they do not face one another, the acceptance is mutual.
Arnav is learning not to deny his heart's call. This is help within, much better than help from outside.
Today, Arnav found strength in his love. He found comfort. He found peace. He found belief. When Khushi told him that distances cannot make their bond weak, Arnav accepted that whole-heartedly. For Khushi, her love is her strength. Now, Arnav is learning this lesson. His love for Khushi is starting to become a strength.
The way this part was executed was beautiful. Though it looks like they were talking (and perhaps this is what is intended) – yet it was more about them acceptance of their own love for each other that was now so strong and deep that it was unfathomable and indestructible. They didn't know how or when or why it happened. All they know is that is has – There is all of a sudden has such a massive presence that it is undeniable no matter how blind, deaf and mute they pretend to be. It's happened - The acceptance that the bond is love.
Arnav Baba & the Forty Thieves
The king of thieves had a huge cave of wonders in which he stored all his stolen wealth. Sim-Sim – the spirit that kept the cave – had warned him that his downfall would come the day a woman entered his lair. He kept watch, but a woman entered in one day and he was done for.
Shyam kept watch that no one would destroy his plans. He worked hard to keep his secrets and trusted no one. Yet, one day a girl called Khushi entered his guarded space and caused his ruin.
Shyam has been fooled. For now.
Arnav is in his hold. Anjali is married to him. He is the much-loved son-in-law. And now, Khushi is interested in him. He has a Will signed by Arnav in his name. What more could Shyam want.
However, his forty thieves are far from satisfied. It seems they are not getting their share of the goodies or the girl.
He keeps attempting to run away. The LIBs are not getting what they thought they would. They thought they had to kidnap and kill. But now, they're having to keep him and feed him.
Lights Out for the Master of Darkness
Shyam ALWAYS causes his own undoing.
He takes people around him to be weak or simple, he loses scorpions, he overestimates ether, he makes huge claims, he leaves doors open, he mixes up CDs...
He caused the darkness in Khushi's life and now he's brought her a candle. Shyam trusting Khushi would cause his own downfall. I'd LOVE to see his face when he realizes that this chit of a girl took him for a ride! Oh-la-la!
The best interpretation of this sequence was that Shyam gave her the light and himself walked out into darkness, from where NK - Khushi's support - came in.
However, the worst interpretation of this sequence is that: Shyam passed on the torch to Khushi - a symbol of carrying on one's work by a trusted aide/partner, a symbol of confidence and trust – and then he left. NK came in and was suspicious (though for Khushi's safety) about Shyam being in Khushi's room at night. Khushi did not give NK any reason for Shyam being there. She almost blurted out the truth, but corrected herself and - in a way - protected Shyam's real face.
It may seem odd that Khushi is doing this. However, she has two apparent reasons:
1. If she reveals all, her own integrity is at stake. If Arnav did not trust her, who would?
2. She's promised Anjali to not let any harm come to her husband or her marriage.
It seems as though, Shyam would pass on the torch to Khushi as his aide, and he'd get away into darkness where he is unseen. He'd be off the hook for a while. Arnav may choose to keep quiet for Anjali again.
Arnav-Khushi saga may yet take a turn for worse in that case.
Parasitically Yours
Eww! *cringes*
Shyam entered Khushi's room in the dead of the night, carrying a candle. He attempted to touch her and spouted double-meaning innuendos. [someone kill him, pileejh!!]
[I'm nearly certain he turned off the lights.]
When Khushi came to his room with kheer, again he asked her to feed it to him.
Khushi nearly told NK what Shyam might try to do. However, she's kept it from him again. This may not be favorable for Khushi.
Khushi
I think I'd LOVE to see the day when Shyam sees how Khushi trapped him!
This woman is causing two overconfident men to fall from the pinnacle of their pride! She is fighting almost single-handedly for the man she loves.
Yet she is so much a tender woman who needs the support of her man when she is alone and afraid.
I LOVED how Khushi went 'Arnav Ji' after Shyam left her room. She was SO scared and yet putting up a brave front. The way she called his name, I half expected Arnav to sit up straight in his cell and alerted to Khushi's plight.
Yet, when NK reminded her to be strong, she gathered her courage and strength was firm once again.
Anjali & Khushi
Anjali once again saves Khushi from Shyam's tactics - however, this time she took the hurt upon herself.
Last time, when she entered the scene, on Holi, Shyam had to flee. Shyam had trespassed into Arnav and Khushi's space. Anjali came in and consequently Shyam had to leave.
This time she effectively came into her own space. Because of Shyam's doing, Khushi has had to come into Anjali's room, and Shyam is making the most of it. However, when Anjali comes in, she gives Khushi the open passage to leave the place where Shyam lives. However, this time Anjali is where Shyam is.
Anjali sees the Khushi nearly feeding Shyam the kheer as a sign of a good beginning of their plan. However, Anjali puts an end to it. She herself does give him kheer though.
Anjali noticed something awry and second time, she has ignored it and given Shyam the benefit again. However, now that Arnav is out of RM and Shyam is getting bolder, Anjali may see more of such scenes that might play on her mind.
If Anjali suspects Shyam having an affair with Khushi, she may choose to keep quiet for Arnav's sake.
The gentle dove needs to be careful.
Others
Erm... what was happening with Akash and Payal?
The lack of communication is showing up. It seems normal that if Payal is not okay with something she'd ask help from her family. However, it seems awkward that she'd not ask that help from her husband. She is already ashamed that she's not upto Akash's standard - in her own mind.
Akash has no such delusions.
However, the gap is there. And how big is the gap? Well, it began with Bubbly fitting in it, and now it's grown to have Bua Ji fit into it!!
On the Lighter Side
Arnav is featuring again in this segment today!
1. Arnav Baba has made the LIBs' lives hell.
Pretty obvious! He is a master at making people's lives hell!
Dunno what these losers were thinking... but then, that's why they're LIBs. Did they really feel they tell Arnav to keep himself captive and he'd go, 'Yes dear!' !?'
LIB#1 was so rattled. He sounded like he was a tortured husband complaining about his wayward wife!!
Arnav would make them put in their papers soon!!
Lage raho, Arnav Buddy!
2. Shyam carrying the candle in the dark kinda reminded me of old, old b&w spooky movies, where this woman clad in flowing whites went around holding a candle ... crooning
"Gumnaam haiii koeee!!
Badnaam haiii koeee!!
Kisko khabar kaun hai woh,
Anjaaan haiii koeee!!"
AND he was wearing a white kurta pyjama!! Hmm... sinister!!
3. It might be fun seeing Payal trying out Bua Ji's suggestions and see RM-waasis get boggled. I wish Arnav is around when Payal walks around wearing flowers in her hair, singing, and using her eyes. Would LOVE to see Arnav's reaction to Bua Ji-infected Payaliya!
4. And finally...
MAN... if u can hear each other.. why don't they talk something sensible for a change - like - look out of the window and tell me what u can see so i can locate you.. OR Shyam is the answer to this Whodunit!!
Arnav and Khushi - why are you bent on bringing down the telecom sector! I mean, if people would get such excellent Signals, Quality, and Reception at no cost, I'd lose my job!
I mean No voice breaks, no interruptions, no cross-connections, no hidden charges!! What an idea, Sir ji!!
Precap
NK and Khushi follow Shyam in RM car. Shyam notices and calls Khushi.
