Next morning she woke up. Her head was paining a little as she couldnot sleep properly last night. His words still playing on her head.
After a moment she smiled.
Khushi: I think he is angry on me or something. But what could it be? She bit her nails. Shit man i feel like cursing my memory right now.
She looked at the sofa, he wasnot there.
She got up from the bed and went towards the bathroom and placed her ear to listen to his movements. She could hear the shower.
She placed her hand on her chest "Thank god he is still here, I thought he must have gone to the college" I so badly want to see him right now.
Lucky for khushi the bathroom door was open. She felt a little nervous. Onlu she knew how badly she wanted to get inside. but she controlled thinking that he might not like the fact after yesterday's event.
She paced for 5 mins infront of the bathroom and finally gather some courage to open the door and enter the bathroom.
She tip-toed in. So what if he screams at me? I am his wife i can enter anywhere when it comes to him, she thought and smiled.
She saw his broad figure on the mirror and blushed. His skin was glowing as the water drops fell on his tight muscular physic.
Arnav was facing back unware of her move, brushing his hair keeping his eyes closed.
Khushi came and stood behind him fiddling with her fingers nervously. She was almost half wet.
Her eyes admiring his body, her hands eager to touch him, her legs waited impatiently to move towards him. But she stood were she was.
suddenly arnav turned and he was about to get hit. Anticipating she tried to move back but she got slipped. Arnav quickly held her waist and balanced her.
Arnav: TUM? What are you doing here?
Khushi: Woh meye? her eyes widened when she felt him naked in front of her eyes. she closed her eyes instantly
Arnav: WHAT? I am asking you something khushi. What the hell are you doing in the bathroom?
Khushi started breadthing faster and faster. She was dumb stuck. She chocked her words. her brain was sending her wierd signals. she was unable to say anything at that moment.
Arnav: WHY ARE YOU STANDING LIKE A STATUE? Speak up
Khushi struggle in his grip and finally looked in his eyes and was lost.
Arnav realized their position and quickly turned her. He knows she didnot see anything. Now he was facing khushi's back.
Arnav: DONT YOU KNOW YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO BERGE IN WHEN SOMEONE IS IN THE BATHROOM?
Khushi was about to turn in anger but he held her shoulder so that she doesnot face him.
Arnav: DONT he shouted. Dont look back
Khushi angrily told him: That someone is my husband arnav, and i have full right on him and his...she paused
Arnav: That is only if we share a proper husband wife relationship which WE DONT
Khushi once again felt an unknown pain by his words.
Khushi: WE DONT? WHY ARNAV? What is my fault?
Arnav: Khushi, this is not the place to discuss.
Khushi: No i want my answer Arnav.
Arnav: Everybody doesnot get what they want. and you better leave right now.
Khushi: Fine. and she walked out of the bathroom slamming the door behind.
Arnav closed his eyes and fisted his palm. Khushi please stay away from me. Its for your good. How can i explain you? I am so helpless. I know i am being rude to you but that is the only way you will maintain a distance from me.
GOD please give me strength to do this. and i hope in this process i dont hurt her much. She is unwell and she needs care. but i cant let her submit her to me. but if i be soft towards her i am sure she is going to demand something which will make this worse for us. She is my responsibility i cant let down shashi uncle and dad.
Dad se yaad aya, i have to talk to him anyhow regarding this before he anticipate something else.
He quickly finished his shower and wrapped his towel around his waist and walked out from the bathroom.
He saw her standing near the window looking that the rain. he stopped looking at her so upset. he felt really bad about the whole situation. she was innocent, her mind is not in her control and her heart is forcing her to think which is not the reality. Once she is aware of the reality she might curse herself, knowing her for such a long time he can well imagine the after effects of it.
He took a step towards her to talk but he backed off. He was about to go to the closet to take out his clothes but he was shocked to see everything on the bed neatly arranged.
Khushi's spell broke when arnav opened the cupboard to take out his stuffs.
she looked at him, but he avoided eye contact as he knew what he was doing will hurt her more and he was not prepared to see that in her eyes. Somehow he felt really sorry for her.
He tookout a t-shirt and wore his jeans which he wore yesterday totally igonring the clothes which khushi had arranged for him on the bed.
She didnot say anything. she walked towards the bed gathered his clothes and wlaked towards the closet
Khushi stood in front of him waiting for him to move.
She looked at him once and then he looked at her puffy eyes he couldnt bare it anymore and he moved aside.
Khushi kept his clothes back and closed the closet door.
Arnav was about to exit his bedroom when he heard khushi
Khushi: Ruko
Arnav stopped.
She came close to him and held his coller from the back.
Arnav turned around and jerked her hand.
Khushi looked at him, her eyes full of hurt.
Arnav: What are you trying to do? he said in anger
Khushi stretched her arms and arnav tried to back off but she held his collar and pulled the price tag which was hanging. he hand got cut due to the fibre string which she pulled forcefully.
Arnav this time really felt bad for behaving so rude to her. he saw a tearing dropping down her cheeks, then he saw pain, he didnot notice until she turned back and started moving away from him.
Arnav saw her doing that and saw the tag on the floor with some blood stains on the string.
Arnav quickly walked towards her and turned her.
Arnav: Let me see
Khushi jerked her hand from him..."I am fine"
Arnav shot a angry look towards her which made her freeze at that point.
Arnav: KAKA! KAKA! can you get the first-aid box FAST?
He made her sit on the bed and carefully wiped the blood with his hanky.
Ramu Kaka placed the box on the bed and left
Arnav bandaged her hand, while khushi continued to weep.
Arnav: There is a thing called SCISSORS, nobody pulls it with the hand. See what you have done. Next time i dont want this.
Khushi broke out in cry making arnav dumb stuck...
whatever...sobs...i ...do...sobs...you ...you...can...sobs...never...ever...sobs...appreciate. With that she pulled her hald bandaged hand and ran downstairs.
Arnav: Shit, Whay cant i be a little less rude to her. I sure can do this much atleast. but it was her stupidity. why will she hurt herself for me?

Arnav came down to the dinnig table, he saw khushi preparing plates for him.
Arnav thought to himslef...oh no not again.
Khushi was about to put food in his plate, when she heard saying Ramu kaka that he is already late for college and he will have breakfast in his college. she stopped and looked at him, he went out of the house grabbing his back pack.
Khushi put back all her food which she had served for herself in the respective container and went up to thier room.
