Manasi Salvi who plays the brave Sati is actually petrified of staying home alone!

Despite her crusader image in Sahara One's Sati - Satya Ki Shakti, in reality, Manasi Salvi is rather timid.

Viewers will be surprised to know that Manasi is actually petrified of being alone. In fact, she's actually terrified of sleeping by herself at night.

"I have always been the pampered kid at home. There was never a time when I used to be left alone at home," she says.

"My mother being a homemaker was at home most of the time and I had a younger sibling too. Hence, I was always used to having people around me. I have got so used to the company of family members that I simply can't imagine a moment without people around me," says Manasi.

This unusual fear persisted even after Manasi got married. "I experienced this fear even at my husband's place. My husband Hemant often goes on work-related tours. And I end up feeling incredibly lscared at home alone. In fact, at such times, I go and stay with my in-laws. I can't even sleep alone in a room. I prefer to have noise around me. So I sleep with the TV on. The human voices make me feel comfortable."

And just how does she plan to overcome her fear? "I always carry a small idol of Ganapati with me. It gives me strength. I also make it a point to carry a 106 beaded chain with me to ward off evil. I also keep a mobile phone near me at night so that in case of emergency I can reach my folks immediately," she says.
