hey guys, here's part 6. I've been thinking about returning to my FF: the hidden truth again, but I'm not sure what to do. Finish writting this SS or continue both? Part 6-
After sharing a sweet eye-lock, their hands break away from each other. He then caresses her hair until she falls back asleep. Her face looking so much younger, so innocent, so pure that he can't resist looking at her; he couldn't tear his eyes away from her heavenly beauty. He beauty which is so natural, little make up used at all to cover any parts of her face, she herself was like an angel. Watching her like this makes him calm down and just smile at her. There was just no specific words to describe her.
The most strangest thing to him now was how at peace they were. Only five years ago they were always having fights and falling out with each other. He used to love watching her get annoyed so quickly. He smiles to himself at one particular flashback. . .
She was now 18. Five years had passed since she was brought to the palace. It took her a couple of months to fully digest all the information she was told and learning how to act like a princess was the hardest. With many attempts to escape the place, she always failed; only because Uday would always bring her back. But now she is capable of all her duties, and she understands much of politics. She was told that she was to be queen in a couple of years ahead, but secretly she was planning a way out of it.
Manyata was sitting in front of her dress table, applying make up. It was a very important day, well to her it didn't seem important, but it was Uday's 19th birthday. Once she was finished with her make up, she stands up and assesses herself in the mirror.
"Hey beautiful," Uday causally says, and Manyata lets out a shriek. Uday then puts a finger on her lips. "Shh. . . it's only me." She frowns at him; annoyed for scaring her.
"You," is all that she says to him.
"Princess, you do know that I have a name," he smirks.
"No. . ." she sarcastically says before busying herself with her hair. She hears the door close but she knew Uday was still in the room. "What are you doing here anyway?"
"Just checking to see how you were really." Uday says, taking a step towards her. She senses this and takes a step back.
"Well I'm fine, guess that means you can go now," She replies back. With every step he takes forwards, she takes one back. When she's pinned back against the wall with his arms on either side of her, she nervously asks, "What are you doing?". In reply, he touches her cheeks slowly leaving a tingling trail behind. The room is in silence, only a low buzzing sound can be heard and every beat of her heart. She was so tensed, her heart pumping so hard as the foreign touch leaves trails at her neck. She closes her eyes, she was scared. All he does is smirk as he absorbs her beauty and slowly caresses her face. His warm breath hits her face gently which brings on a new kind of sensation. And slowly she feels him move closer, and she decides to give him. There was no way out, she was trapped. But he took her by surprise by just kissing her cheeks.
"I just wanted to tell you I'm going to London next week for my studies," he says. Then he leaves the room, leaving footsteps behind him; echoing, filling up the silence.
She slowly drops to the ground. It didn't seem right, she wasn't expecting that to happen. Why did she feel so weird? she knew he was just a jerk, but then why is she pondering on about what had happened? Shaking her head she tries to forget about what had happened and she carries on doing her hair. . .
He then snaps out of it, and looks at her for one more time. Then he decides to take his leave and return back home. But before his leave and return back home. But before he does he writes a small note to Manyata and leaves it on the bedside table.
Then a couple of days passes like this. Uday visits her daily making sure that she is in good health. He feeds her himself again, spoon by spoon. And as each day passes, she becomes better. They both avoid the subject about them engaged; they both knew it wasn't a big problem for them right now. Every night he thinks about the situation and a plan starts to form in his mind. But in order for it to work he has to ask some people for support.
"Dad," Uday stops his dad from leaving the house. He turns around to look at Uday.
"Kya Uday?" his dad asks.
"Dad I was thinking that since it's Manyata's birthday coming up, maybe we can hold her birthday party here," Uday tells him, and his dad smiles. Giriraj always wanted his son and Manyata together since they were babies.
"You know what son, that is an amazing idea. But shouldn't you tell her family?" Giriraj asks. Then Uday smirks.
"Dad it's going to be a surprise party, and I will be sharing a special news that day," he says.
"Okay son. Just make it her best birthday, one she will always remember," Giriraj replies back before leaving the house.
"Don't worry dad, it will be a spectacular one," Uday says to himself.
He then jumps into his car and speeds his way to the mahal. He decides to meet DS first and tell her about what he has in mind. He quietly approaches her office and knocks on it.
"Come in," DS says. Uday then enters the office. "Uday beetha, what can I do for you?"
"DS you know how Manyata's birthday is coming up, I was wondering if I could hold her a surprise party a ours," Uday tells her. DS smiles at him.
"That would be a very nice thing. I am sure that Manyata would love it," DS says.
"And there's something else I want to say," Uday says.
"Okay, tell me then," DS replies back. Uday then quietly tells her and DS smiles again. "That would be a wonderful Uday."
"Thanks DS, I knew I could count on you. Just make sure no one tells her anything about it," he tells her smiling.
* * *
She was in her room reading a book. There was a cool breeze coming in from the window, allowing her to chill on the hot day. She didn't notice anything else in the room; she was too caught up in her imagination. Then there was a silent tap at the door but she ignored it. She groans and shifts her position; lost in the book once again. She starts smiling and curls her hair, swaying her feet in the air slowly, but she doesn't realise that someone was creeping up on her. He stands there and smiles at her; she always looks adorable when she's reading a book. He then goes up to her, but she doesn't see him. From behind he places his hands on top of her eyes; knowing that she would get angry at him for this. She immediantly turns around and slaps him.
"Ughh. . . it just got on to the good bit where Edward and Bella kiss!" She exclaims in anger. But then her eyes fall when she realises who she had just smacked. He places a hand on where she hit him.
"Is that all your going to say?" he asks smirking. She doesn't say anything else, her eyes still kept down. "Then," he carries on lifting her face with a finger. They both look into each others eyes; both mesmerized by the other that they lose speech.
"Then?" She asks, wondering what he was going to say. Instead he tilts his head a little to the side and moves closer to her. She closes her eyes; she wasn't imagining any more, it was reality. It's him who breaks away first, and they both try to catch their breath.
"Are you okay?" he asks with concern and she just ends up laughing. "What?!"
"sorry, it's just that Edward does the same thing as you did, 'Are you okay'" She mimics.
"Okay okay, I didn't know," he says smiling. She continues laughing trying to calm herself down. He then moves and sits on the bed. "Calm down now, its not even that funny."
"Sorry," She says, finally calming down. Then she goes back to reading the book. Her head on his lap. Him sitting on the side of the bed stroking her hair.
