I really understand the logic behind, "mata pita ko jeevan ke saare nirnay lene kaa adhikar hai"
why the hell does CVs have to stress that point again and again.

i also do not understand the logic behind creating such absurd situations where talk of mata parvati
getting married some other person arises. i really don't understand why they need to stress that point again and again. Does it really hold any significance in the narration of the tale.

First of all they show Himavan and mena as devotees of Vishnu taking out the possibility of they doing tap to aadishakti. Then they stress on absurd logic of shivatva and vasihnavatva then Himavan comes and talks of getting is daughter married some idiot when she is just 11 years old.

Then he again stresses on he being kshatriya etc etc.

i really don't understand the logic and message behind such absurd dramatization other than hurting sentiments of devotees of Lord Shiva

i would really like to hear views of other forum members on this part

regards
Krishna

i too realised dat da cvs r in real hurry 2 get shiv married 2 parvati.dat's why dey show narad requesting himavan 2 get parvati married 2 shiv.and den tomorrow dey will show daksh giving lecture 2 himavan not 2 do da same mistake which he did and get his daughter married 2 shiv.all dese realization part of humavan cld hv been done after parvati grows up
also but dat's da main theme of da show.da main theme is 2 show a hermit shiv turning into a householder after marriage.Dis mostly focuses on shiv and his relationship wid his oder half.first dey showed his relationship wid sati and now dey r gonna show his relationship wid parvati.

Yes it looks absurd initially, But it leads to some sense in the end. This has been the general trend of many tracks in this show. Today Mena accepted that she will not stop Parvati form worshipping Shivji. They are showing how different Sati & Parvati's parents are.

Tomorrow when Himavan& Mena will meet Daksh & Prasuti, they will tell Parvati's parents not to make the mistake they did with Sati. This may change Himavan & Mena's thinking understanding the pain Parvati had undergone in her past birth. This is what Vishnuji wanted to make Himavan & Mena understand. Atleast Himavan is better then Daksh who told her today he will never go against her wish.
There is absolutely no message behind showing this difference of two belief systems. The viewrs are not accepting their version that's why this pro Shivji track has started with Himavan's entry. As per the Purana's story they were Shiv-bhaktas. May be they will turn in the show soon.
They should show Kashi Wishvanath Jyotirling's story here.

I think making Himavan and Mena learn from Daksh's mistake is absurd drama...totally unwarranted and filmy. I understand that this is an "adaptation"...but this is just ludicrous! 🤣
I'm not offended as much as I am amused as hell...

I was as amused when they did all the drama with Sati...but at least in that case, there was *some* basis for the exaggerated emotional atyaachaar (most of which I skipped)...but in the case of Parvati???? 😕 😆 I've already accepted that they are taking liberties with the narrative...but this is just plain ol' silly and I just want this nonsensical stuff to be over quickly.

I also agree that they are anachronistically playing up the so-called Shaiva vs. Vaishnava antagonism. This offends my sense of historical development...but I am not expecting the makers of a tv show to be overly concerned with minor issues like *accuracy* 😆 😆

My solution...skip skip skip...till it becomes worth watching again...i.e. when Mahadev comes out of that cave 😃

I agree to most criticism at this page...
And I can also add that we don't see any NEED and URGENCY of Shiv marrying Parvati... Tarkasur is not making any problems at all ( and that was the main reason of Shiv's marriage), hunting for Parvati without success, not Devas.
Vishny and Brahma giving promices that they won't make Shiv marry anybody are forgotten.
