Apoorva Agnihotri recently made a return to television with the TV show Aasmaan Se Aage on Life OK.
The channel was banking on this serial, which was based on a reality show, and hoping that it would help them get good ratings. But they were shocked when Aasmaan Se Aage opened poorly and then in the consecutive weeks dropped further. In fact, it's the lowest in terms of ratings on Life OK.
Hence a decision has now been taken to axe the show in a month's time. The makers are shocked and so are the cast and crew. But one person who is most disappointed is Apoorva. This show was a new lease of life for him on TV and he sincerely believed it had the potential to be the number one show on the channel. Well, the television industry is a ruthless place and nobody is surprised with the Life OK's decision to shutAasmaan Se Aage. After all, it's all about ratings (TRPs) here.
